We had one in our yard when I was a kid. in the fall would give the beautiful chestnut nuts, but in the summer, the tree was the most unbelievably beautiful shade tree. It created a perfect umbrella shade area that was better than any shade tree I’ve ever seen. I haven’t been back there in 30 years and wonder what happened to that tree.

I agree with no html but markdown syntax was used in plain text messages years before markdown existed. It was basically a way to enhance formatting of email/messages on old green screen text based email systems.
So it should render well either way text or not.

What I have seen from east coast judges is a blurring of that line requiring higher standards.
You would never see that in Indiana courts. The accused clearly has an advatage in a proper court. But not so much in the Kangaroo courts of New York and D.C.

Just a thought
1 ¢ in 1913 has the same buying power as
38 ¢ today.
This means in 1913 basically items had to be denominated in what would today be 40 ¢ quantities.
Another way of thinking is that a 1913 penny was basically a 2024 half dollar. Equivalent to going to the store and getting change in 1/2 dollar increments.
Today
16 #sats = 1 ¢
But in the not too distant future 1 #sat will be a 1/2 dollar. This is certain. What is not is when.
Basically for 1 penny (1 ¢ ) you can get a future cash value of $4.
And most of us are zapping $4-$16 of future worth.

My suspicion is that most don’t understand negative interest rates:
A Porsche costs 2 #BTC this year, will cost 1 #BTC next year, and 0.5 #BTC the following year. So logically I would just wait 2 years buy a newer Porsche and have 1.5 #BTC left over.
Of course it might be 0.25 #BTC the following year so I might just wait.
So if I borrow 1 #BTC at -50% interest rate I could wait 2 years but the Porsche for 0.5 #BTC pay the bank back 0.25 #BTC , and put 0.25 #BTC in my pocket.

It is exciting times we live in because only time will tell how this really pans out. #BTC is a much harder asset than gold. Keep in mind they’re digging 54,000,000 ounces of gold / year out of the Earth and if the price of gold goes up, that number goes up, but it doesn’t matter how high the price of bitcoin goes #BTC will only be 450 tokens / day. And that number will be reduced by two in about 3 1/2 years.
