No.
I detest normies. I'd rather deal with the midwit BTC maxis, as toxic as they are, than have nostr flooded with people who can't think more than 5 minutes ahead.
I think buying BTC and dating BTC slogans absolutely puts you into a non-normie bucket. Vast minority at this point. That's neither good nor bad, even if I think it us a good thing, in general.
Right now, many "normies" are shaving their heads and accidentally recognizing chastity as a virtue in the wake of literally Hitler getting elected.
Ok, maybe those aren't normies either.
I'm too tired to be coherent at point.
Patents are useless in a world like we have today, unless you can afford skads of lawyers in multiple countries.
I have a few products I know I could patent, but... It's not worth the money to do so.
I try to keep most things as simple as possible. The issue becomes when I want to add in just enough complexity to do what I think a system should do. This usually comes from bull-headed ignorance and I pick things with steeo learning curves.
But yes, in this case, it wasn't my note to begin with. 😅
$6 temu special. I haven't broken it yet. That's better than the $30 chinesium unit I had at lasted maybe a month before I shattered the "crystal." This one even came with a NATO strap (my preferred style) that actually fits my upper-decile wide wrist. That's also rare.
The coating is incisors rubbing off and it never sweated up, though I do not trust it to be even water resistant.
10/10 would buy another one. I might, just to have it here before tarrifs hit and double the price. 😅

Yes. But I'm very bad with watches, in that I never pay enough attention to them when I'm wearing them and it's never been worth it to get a "nice" watch. I do think that they are rather snazzy. I'm just... Not that fancy?
This is why I will no longer vote.

Coinkite is leveraging gubment power to prevent an obvious knockoff competitor from succeeding.
The knockoff and Coinkite are being douchey.
Panties are twisted. Some are never going to buy a coldcard (again). Some recognize the legal right to do that. Others are discussing the trashy IP laws on the books.
🤷♂️
I tend to agree that IP laws are fiat minded nonsense and the enforcement thereof is anathema to the spirit of freedom that so many in the BTC space seem to pay homage to, but might not really espouse even if it is inconvenient.
Don't. They have already had several breeches and have been known to facilitate extra-judicial information to gubment agencies. This is a huge security risk, IMO.
I'm already on file (I'm sure) as a veteran, but, I'm not risking my whole genetic profile being much more easily accessible via a low-hanging-fruit breech of a janky company.
This is why gubment should not have any say in "Healthcare."
The soviets labeled dissenters as mentally ill and used that "diagnosis" to murder and mutilate people that spoke out against the obvious atrocities happening.

Welcome.
Nostr is weird. Find your weird. 😁
There's plenty of BTC fans here, so much so that it bores the rest of us that don't really care that much about BTC on nostr.
That's really effing annoying.
I use a notebook...
You could use a spreadsheet that's synced to your computer via syncthing that you update as you fill up.
Maybe some devs will check this out and get a friggin clue and use stuff like this to make their ideas not suck.

That's definitely a lot of work!
In a way, I'm glad I've got a tiny stack. NGU doesn't matter and I'm just buying a little more every day. It would matter a lot more if I liquidated a retirement fund or something.
You, more than most, seem to be doing just that. I admire that about you. Your love of helping people secure their value for the future is making a real impact in the world. Keep it up!
*sighs*
I think I'm a little off kilter this morning.
I just had a crazy idea:
Set a 4 year goal to be married with at least one kid by the next presidential election.
I genuinely have no clue if that's possible. The list of those who would volunteer for that is vanishingly small, and, this is such a wild goal (in my opinion) that I have a huge amount of doubt that it's even possible. 😅
