@d0e09e5d They sorta wanna do the same thing in New Zealand. It has been so successful so far, I only know two people who smoke. Vaping has replaced most smoking, because smokes cost about USD20 or 25 per pack.
Vaping is super cheap by comparison. But now there are too many vape shops, so they want to decrease that. They are going to restrict the nicotine solution ratio.
It is also possible to leave your desk, in an office job, to take a five minute non-smoking break in some jobs.
@d0e09e5d I would guess no. Because you might load your soil with sodium.
baking soda is sodium bicarbonate
lime is mostly calcium carbonate
salt is sodium chloride
Excess sodium causes osmotic damage, will stunt plant growth. Water will not go into the plants roots if the sodium is too high.
@efa2e20e That is silly stuff for them to cheap-out on. I suppose people do backup and restore over wifi. I guess I use the port for charging and car play. I doubt that the car play would be better with a faster connection.
@d0e09e5d Can you dissolve it with some organic solvent?
I was working on some dirty equipment the other day, it had cooking smoke grease on it. The grease would not wash off, so I coated my hands with some cooking oil to dissolve the grease, and then washed that off with detergent.
@d0e09e5d Something you can remove if the heating system fails.
You can find a heat capacity table for materials. Water is the stand out material, but it is not good for flooring.
@efa2e20e Especially if you put them in a good case. I broke the screen on my iPhone 7plus three times. I smashed the case on my 11, bought a new case the same day. Case cost 1/3 the price of a new screen.
@aba3e4c9 True, I went for a drive all around the UK.
Funny thing, this is SH1 State Highway 1, the main road between Auckland and Wellington. This location is about 10km past the end of the Wellington motorway network. About 80km from Parliament.
They are on year 43 of the consultation process for building the replacement highway.
The new replacement highways look something like this.

When Greta says that 75% of new diseases come from animals, where do the other 25% come from? When was the last time you were sneezed on or coughed on by a tree or a rock?

I got a new iPhone 11 ages ago, and it still works properly. Although I would like a better camera, I think the prices are absurd.
