Both iPhone 15 non-pro and iPhone 15 Pro have USB-C

but non-Pro has extremely slow USB 2 but Pro has super fast USB 3,

Result: transfer speeds on Pro are yuge and the same as on fast macs and fast PCs 

But on non-pro extremely slow, akin to PC from 20 years ago:

 @efa2e20e it is how they will separate the tech of the wealthy vs tech of the poor.  Pro = wealthy good tech, standard = utility for the poor to get their marching orders.

 @efa2e20e I can’t remember the last time I connected my iPhone to a computer. iPad, yes. iPhone no. 

But my iPad has had USB-C for years.

 @efa2e20e That is silly stuff for them to cheap-out on. I suppose people do backup and restore over wifi. I guess I use the port for charging and car play. I doubt that the car play would be better with a faster connection.
