 @efa2e20e That is silly stuff for them to cheap-out on. I suppose people do backup and restore over wifi. I guess I use the port for charging and car play. I doubt that the car play would be better with a faster connection.

 @7f517f5f USB 3 in iphone 15 Pro allows for USB  gigabit ethernet that is much faster than WiFi
