Every broad scale algorithm can be gamed. The only solution is for every person to have their own private algorithm, so they cannot be all gamed simultaneously.
Hey @mempool, on the block view, I would love to see a histogram of how long transactions have been included in the mempool. So a histogram of the 'First seen' values.
For mined blocks, this is the 'After ## minutes/hours/days/weeks' value, so there's at least some historical data available.
IMO this would be a neat view on how much new stuff vs old stuff is actually being processed.

This install had been running since 2020, so it had 10+ distro upgrades. Bit annoying to redo everything, but it was getting unstable anyways. And it's also nice to have a clean slate, with a bigger SSD.
