In case you are not aware, we are experiencing an unprecedented level of destruction in Valencia. Many friends and neighbors are without access to electricity, food, or water. Multiple cities have underground parking structures completely flooded, and almost a week later, it’s unknown how many people were inside their cars, as many tried to retrieve them when they realized what was coming.
Please support this initiative. The Spanish government is showing how slow and inefficient they can be, and it’s efforts like this one that are truly helping the people.

Has anyone else noticed that LinkedIn has become a wild orgy of self-promotion and sales pitches?
I recently reopened my account after a few years of inactivity to reconnect with previous colleagues and do some networking , as I'm starting my own business after a lifetime of being an employee but I'm finding it extremely overwhelming - it seems like everyone is trying to sell me something rather than genuinely networking or exploring new opportunities.
And to be honest, I'm starting to feel like I'm getting sucked into the vortex myself... I've even caught myself posting in a way that feels more like a sales pitch than anything else lately. It's like I'm losing myself in the process.
Is it just me, or has the platform shifted completely away from its original purpose of connecting professionals and facilitating meaningful connections?

My 7-year-old daughter has been doing really well in school up until now, but this year she's been placed in a class with a teacher who seems overly focused on woke ideology, and also with a child who has two transgender parents and who also identifies as a different gender depending on the weather, seriously. I'm concerned about the potential impact this could have on her development and values, and I've already expressed my concerns to the school. Unfortunately, they rejected my request to move her to a different class, telling me that they know what's best for my daughter. I strongly disagree with their decision, and to be honest, I'm seriously considering homeschooling as an option. However, I'm also aware that it requires a lot of patience and time. Can anyone offer some guidance on where to start?

Hearing a friend still making fun of Bitcoin when I unsuccessfully tried to orange pill him when the price was 18k is just hilarious… he has no idea what’s about to happen…
That happened to most of us but it’s a good test to remind us the frustration and stupidity that comes with high time preference actions and expectations.
Not sure if anyone will read this but even though 2023 has been a better year than 2022 it still has been a challenge for most of us who don’t fit anymore in the groups we used to. Thanks to everyone that makes Nostr possible, this place remember us we are not alone, sooner or later everyone will be in our team…
