I think a fair amount about why I am doing this (as in working in Bitcoin and educating around it as I see it), and why I don’t just throw it to the win and live my own happy little life. The truth is that I think if we are not ‘all in’ we may very well lose. And not just bitcoin, but the wider vision of the Cypherpunks, and the possibility of a truly free internet and what that promise would mean to humanity. I simply cannot walk away. I must do this because I feel morally and ethically obliged to fight fiat on every front available so that the lies may finally be seen by all for what they are: lies. Damn lies that have pulled the whole of Earth into its nihilism and despair; damning language itself to its collapse and presenting the impossible idea of freedom from the State and its infinite tyranny. We must win—or all of posterity will be enslaved forever.

I view bitcoin as being a central part of a larger movement that is all about #decentralization and self sovereignity. As the state inevitably collapses due to the wasteful inefficiency of the fiat system and due to the complete erosion of trust in our trust based systems (i.e. the boomer centric 'trust the experts' approach to life), we will finally begin to see a bitcoin circular economy emerging. For my part, I am trying to educate the #plebchain about #health and #nutrition. Preventive medicine has become such a corrupted field and most drugs out there are simply not worth the risk for primary prevention. Don't trust fiat food, don't trust fiat medicine. Always verify information for yourself, as #bitcoin teaches us.

100%. Too many people of a certain age, in the west generally, but America particularly grew up in an environment that taught them ‘the good guys always win’ without ever: 1. Defining good guys in a meaningful way, & 2. Showing all the times that didn’t happen. ‘Might makes right’ was a real thing for most of human history and those wielding coercion and power to get their way were not the ‘good guys’. I was involved in political activism in the wrong way in my youth, including passing without pain or glory through the justice system in my country. 🇻🇪 I decided to retire because I didn't see the point of supporting causes that did not produce a real impact of significant change, everything I did simply benefited another political faction. Just getting into Cryptosovereignty now. Love your style and thought. In your preface you write: “The infinite wealth of knowing that mine is mine alone, and yours is yours alone, and that through the mutual signification, that is the dignity of the other, and the respect that we can offer towards one another’s property, we discover the greatest power that there is.” Profound and powerful. Makes me think that this real mutual respect engendered by Bitcoin is just a “first step” for humanity as it crawls out of the sludge of the dark ages, and can lead to helping us see the legitimate divine in one another as well. Put another way: Seeing one another as masters of unassailable and pure property reminds us of the unassailability and purity of our souls, and that we should respect them. Also, because Bitcoin dis-ables all of us (in the sense that it distributes our abilities beyond the physical and into the digital) we may come to the see internet-space as much more sacred, in the longer run. (Just some thoughts as I’m reading. Hope you don’t mind me scrawling them here, randomly. 😉)
