This is why WoT is the most valuable use case for #Nostr.
This will be the thing, imo, that in hindsight will be blatantly obvious. Weighing information, reviews, and conclusions through our social connections and trust. It will be as obvious as the “like” and “repost” buttons on all social and as having reviews under every product or service. It will eventually be indistinguishable from all basic services and social systems.

Do you suspect money laundering might be about obtaining resources and controlling land? 🤔
Just for reference later, money is nothing but a proxy (a record keeping system) for resources, so when you say it’s “about money,” then it’s really “about resources.” 👍🏻
Ideological difference and religious difference are excuses for power. Thats what *the people* make it about. But the funding and resources that make that war possible, then propaganda that pushes people into their tiny boxes of non-thought, are all fueled by people who want power, resources, and land.
Pretty sure Llama is all Meta. But tons of people have dropped forks and fine tunes of it since it’s FOSS. This is likely NVIDIA just working off of their base model and applying their RLHF tricks or whatever to make it better.
Haha 🤣
I basically agree with you, but I’m addressing socialists within *their* language and according to *their* beliefs. Most people who identify as such think they just believe in “sharing with others.” The point is to separate their belief from the clearly and deeply evil side of socialism, as a state worshipping ideology.
In other words, most people gaslight themselves by ignoring the evil side of what they believe. The point is to frame them in the way that they see themselves, and then ask them not to enslave other people 🤣🤣
Dear socialists on #Nostr,
Libertarians and socialists could actually live together without any trouble if it weren’t for socialists always resorting to tyranny and enforcing others into slavery to their system.
There is nothing about socialism (commune living) as a chosen way to live that’s incompatible with freedom. It’s when you decide it’s ok to force your religion onto everyone else by pointing the state gun at everyone’s head, forcing them to pay for a system and people they don’t agree with, making them slaves.
If people don’t agree with your system, leave them alone and live your own life, and you won’t start a war. 😁👍🏻
Cheers
Why don’t you try a democratic company with your own funds and resources that you own and just see how it goes?
Nobody is stopping anyone from doing that. 🤷🏻♂️
This one doesn’t know how to. Slaver through to their core. You just mute people who can’t see a path for life without subjugating someone else. They are simply horrible people.
I think you possibly have a very naive impression that energy production and regulation isn’t totally controlled by the very people it’s advertised as “keeping under control.”
Read about Bootleggers and Baptists, and then remember that to make sure you don’t become a Baptist.
Then I don’t understand what your comment was referencing. I assumed the context was about needing state control, and you were giving an example of where it was necessary.
Maybe expand on the context of what you mean, because I still can’t come up with anything else.
Well I was just answering what I thought you were addressing in the absence of a direct explanation. I clearly misunderstood, but it’s nothing to get bothered about.
Also you should still check out bootleggers and baptists if you haven’t before. It’s the most important framing for political incentives, imo.
I think the problem is constant conflation by the people who actually support it. Language on all sides is constantly co-opted and made vague and confusing.
lol, dude you gave no explicit context and as you said, its hard to understand what someone means in text sometimes. If you gave no explicit context then my only means is to assume which part of my post you are responding too.
but now you've spent 3 additional comments just complaining about it. Don't know what has you so fixated on this but hope you have a good day anyway. Later
Wow, legit zero screen time? That seems like it would be hard to pull of with a 6yo, especially if you are on screens all the time. Is there a particular strategy for this? 🤔
This is an absurd statement, imo. Printing money literally does **nothing** for the economy and axiomatically cannot. You have conflated digital payments with the idea of fiat, which aren’t related at all. Fiat is simply the side effect of digital payments without genuine digital money.
In place of real money, we got authority as a bandaid with a huge set of unintended consequences.
I think you have made a very fundamental error between payments and money. Fiat has literally nothing at all to do with technological progress or economic growth. To the contrary, it has done nothing but stifle it rather remarkably.
And if you think the basics of money are “utopian thinking” then I’d argue you have brought in a bunch of silly things that you believe and projected them on me. Nobody said anything about utopia.
While I am fascinated by the grounding science and theory, I don’t think it’s a conscious conspiracy. There are plenty of very real and persistent incentives to protect our feet that didn’t come from artificial sources, and it would also require a depth of knowledge and awareness of very nuanced issues for this to be a broad, explicit attempt to control people, rather than a typical human misstep inspired by ignorance.
They legit make grounding blankets that do exactly this. You can buy them on Amazon 😆
I also have been really skeptical until I saw the experiment where they watched blood under a microscope with and without grounding. And when they were insulated they literally clumped together. They lost their ability to regulate space between each other.
Definitely made me raise an eyebrow. 🤔
It was taking the blood of someone who hadn’t been grounded for a whole day, and then again after 30 minutes grounded.
So they didn’t artificially apply anything. It was a before and after look at the cells and how they interacted.
I also prefer to be defrauded through my money and forced to pay for things I don’t agree with. 😆😘
Jokes aside, Nostr is open to everyone and there’s no way to exclude anyone from using it. You or anyone else can start a community around whatever you like.
The point of (or the natural result of) bitcoin's trustless structure isn't to get rid of all trust, but to have a way to build it back in a secure and reliable way with a proper totem to judge it against.
Trust is and always has been the most important element in a strong society.

This one lands at its actually launching tower, the tower grabs it in the air, this was the first attempt, and this rocket is bigger than the statue of liberty.
Those other rockets that you've likely seen land themselves are way smaller.
Just for reference, this isn't perfectly accurate because i can't find exact measurements of the booster only, but the entire starship is a little over 400ft.
This makes the Statue of Liberty a tad taller than the booster alone from what it looks like, but this should give some references to try to picture the scale of what just happened and why this is a big deal.
This is the rocket that they expect to be able to potentially take humans (back? 🤔) to the moon and further, and it just launched into space, returned on its own, and was firmly and safely placed back to the exact same position where it will take off from for its next mission. 🤯

Curious, do they think that starlink is fake satellite internet also, and/or that the rockets that take those up and land back on their landing sites is all fake as well? 🤔
I don’t quite see the point of such an elaborate faking and doing it over and over again thinking they wouldn’t get caught.
Each of the boosters moves independently and you can watch them while they do. And there are correcting thrusters toward the top. You can see them fire every so often in most videos of the rockets landing.
This wasn’t an answer to my question though. So in your thinking all of the smaller rockets that have been doing this for years are fake too? What are your thoughts on starlink internet? Is that just fake or are they just lying about how they get them into orbit?
"And these are the only 5 star wars movies they ever made. No, there wasn't a new trilogy, I don't know what you're talking about."
lol, I actually completely agree with this list except that I would put Revenge of the Sith as number 4 and move the other two up a notch. I also really liked (or at least was very surprised by) Rogue One though... 🤔
