🔥 NEW DOCUMENTARY - What Is a Bitcoiner?
Is Bitcoin a financial revolution - or a full-blown CULT?
The truth might challenge everything you think you know about the Bitcoin community.
Enjoy the full video below (and zaps appreciated if you want to see more!)

Big thanks to @orangepillapp and all the amazing Bitcoiners + NOSTRiches for making this video come to life!
And if you want to buy self-custody BTC + KYC-free Bitcoin in Canada, hit up https://bitcoinwell.com/getbased
I don't know how you arrived at the idea that "the poor are lazy"
most poor people I know generally don't have expendable income or access to cheap debt
it's not impossible for them to become rich, but it is exponentially more difficult for them to access capital and opportunity compared to rich people
Bitcoin levels that playing field as the barrier to entry is smaller than any other investable asset
Bitcoin trivia, but every question you get right DOUBLES your prize money.
you can take your prize at any time, but if you get one wrong, you LOSE IT ALL
how far could you make it?

we'll do more of them! if you have any super difficult but PLAUSIBLE trivia for hardcore bitcoiners, let me know - compiling a list to host some more of these when conference season kicks back up again!
Great take.
We know not everybody will be able to self-custody - Bitcoin on layer 1 cannot even support everybody who has a cellphone to make 1 self custody transaction per day.
What is important is that people understand that somebody around them can still verify, spend, and interact with the base layer - and that those people serve as the hubs and guardians for ensuring the layer 2s are not perpetuating fraudulent bitcoin
love this - you captured it well.
becoming a bitcoiner to you sounds like discovering a proper instrument to accurately measure the value of your time with
The NYC government came and euthanized this guy's (Mark Longo) adopted squirrel “Peanut”, which he’s owned for 7 years, for "protection of public health".
Mark Longo and his wife moved to Upstate New York last year to start P'Nuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary, which is named for his pet and officially opened in April 2023.
The sanctuary houses more than 350 rescues and has been relying "heavily" on donations from Peanut's online followers to help more animals.
When the government shows you and tells you who they are—believe them.

yeah I heard about doing a split! good suggestion. for water heating I am thinking solar tubes on the roof since it's passive. works 3/4 seasons up here from what I hear... any experience with this?
drilled well about 150ft deep! I have a small creek nearby but it is on park land... if y'all have stealth ways of setting up mini hydro generators I may be curious 😂
I would need about 20,000w of batteries to do it and probably 20,000w of panels. you're talking a 30,000$+ solar system just to run a clocked down S19. we don't get nearly enough sun to do it in the winter/spring efficiently
gm NOSTR!
I'm looking for some ideas to let loose on for new 60-second shorts explaining Bitcoin or NOSTR 101.
Less technical, more conceptual / debunking FUD.
What would you like to see? What concepts about Bitcoin or NOSTR need to be explained better in a fast way?
If I like it and haven't made it already, zaps will come your way ⚡
This is good but need to broaden it outside just a US lens (especially since I am Canadian).
Maybe more like borrowing against your Bitcoin = no taxes?
this is a fair point - definitely an issue from a voter standpoint that they feel they can have their voice heard and enacted upon.
guess I can't get too mad that other people are single issue voters as well 😅
GM NOSTR 💥 NEW VIDEO!
Have you ever seen a piece of public art SO BAD it made you question your FAITH in HUMANITY?
Have you ever wondered if Central Bankers and Intelligence Agencies are weaponizing art to make us SLAVE AWAY at our fiat existences?
Have you ever gone so far down that rabbit hole that you posted up for 48 hours in front of a public art installation AND MADE A VIDEO ABOUT IT?
I did.
Watch below and let me know if I'm crazy or not. 👇
Featuring a cameo by the one and only @MADEXhttps://v.nostr.build/CtTm8XJ4Z9M92bv1.mp4
The governments of Ancient Greece commissioned art and sculptures all the time, and I think most people would call it objectively fantastic to this day.
Japan has some pretty amazing works funded by the government as well.
I think the issues arise when the government becomes a lifeline for artists who no longer have any other opportunities because fiat and unsound money has ravaged the private sector and free market.
Also when intelligence agencies, who are funded endlessly by the fiat machine, get to pull the strings and control the media.
You still need some sort of governing body to approve and select art as long as we have public spaces. Or even if a corporation owns a public space, they'll still have a sort of bureaucracy too.
I think the reason Japan still has great, contemporary public art (from what I saw briefly) is because they have a culture that really values artists.
So much of this is evident in people of every generation, from all walks of life collecting characters and iconography in print media, video games, music, movies etc.
Having some challenges posting longer videos on NOSTR (bandwidth / storage limits) - but here is one of my more favorite episodes of Future proof w/ @adam
Capitalism vs. Corporatocracy - What's The Difference?
https://v.nostr.build/5oaO8MikbKDi07qg.mp4
p.s. zaps go towards paying for censorless video hosting ⚡⚡
I won't entirely speak for @adam but I believe the other part to his thesis is that returning to faith/God will solve a lot of these issues and temptations you mention with human nature, and that can be catalyzed by Bitcoin as well
hot take: kamala harris isn't as dumb as she wants you to think she is.
yes, you read that right.
her entire career as a prosecutor was built on reading and probing people.
if you can't win by laying out the facts, you win on creating perception.
you create a story.
when Kamala does a funny accent, laughs too much, or repeats a slogan - she's creating a narrative about herself.
these are not emergent accidents in her political journey, like Trump speaking his mind and hitting a controversial note, or Biden tripping down a flight of stairs.
she is in control of the story being told about her.
this is why she has almost completely stopped saying "the unburdened by what has been" line in the last 60 days.
the mockery has already been made, the well has been dried - it has reached the point of diminishing returns in terms of right wing press coverage.
she, of course, gains from a completely manufactured "uninterested" left-wing press (do we really think *nobody* on the left wants to interview her, and isn't frustrated by the lack of access?)
but her coverage from a right wing press standpoint is almost solely focused on either:
a) completely impossible to legislate campaign promises like unrealized gain taxes, or $25000 housing credits
or
b) her new gaffe/accent/repeated line-of-the-week
coverage of either of these things has zero effect on independent voters.
this coverage/commentary does not make an even SLIGHTLY informed voter lean decisively against her
they are also such milquetoast subjects at this point that they won't galvanize republicans to turn out en masse as well
you want to know what democrats/left wing establishment were most worried about, but have almost completely memory-holed?
the 1st trump assassination attempt
zero coverage on ANY network on the shooter's motives, and hardly a mention from Trump himself in about 4 weeks until the 2nd failed attempt
trump not leaning into his 1st assassination attempt is quite possibly the biggest self-own in american politics I have ever seen
meanwhile, kamala and a highly coordinated group of democratic operatives are running one of the most impressive operations of political persuasion I have ever seen
it's what was completely lacking from Clinton's campaign back in 2016, but what was learned from Biden's successful "basement" strategy in 2020.
this is what will likely lead to Kamala in the whitehouse in 2024, barring any unforeseen story regarding her that she can't get coordinated responses and handling of
want to try and make a difference as an individual that can't stand her and her backers?
stop focusing on what she says/doesn't say, and focus on who she is and what she does.
she grew up with two professors as parents.
her father was a post-Keynsian economist who wrote dissertations on Marxism.
start deeply researching what both those terms and fields of study imply, and educate yourself and your community on the absolute travesty they have wrought in their wake
and i'll keep making the videos long after the election ✌️
One of the least talked about side effects of a Fiat standard is an over abundance of awful, demoralizing public art.
Art that makes us feel impotent, bored, and sometimes downright disgusted.
All funded by taxpayer money.
It doesn't have to be like this - and a Bitcoin standard might be the key in bringing creativity, beauty, and magnificence back into the art that defines our public spaces.
Next week I'm dropping my latest documentary all about this.
And yes, @MADEX has a cameo 😉
