Take it as a reminder to always carry. Im trying to get my "gun guy" friends to actually carry their fucking pieces every day. These idiots will be out with their wives and kids, and no fucking gun. Un-fucking-believable to me.
Ehhhh I've talked to a Catholic about these alleged traditions, and he can't tell me why they exist or what purpose they serve, and certainly not where they're referenced in scripture. Maybe I just asked the wrong Catholic. I need to know that they are in fact tradition, rather than something I'm simply told is tradition. And from that point, purpose and validity are next.

I havent been to a mall in years, until today. I was shocked at how women were dressed. Women ages 10 to 40 were wearing tight leggings, skin-tight tops, and showing full-on cheeks, only sometimes slightly covered with a short skirt-in-name-only. They were all dressed like prostitutes.
Praying is talking to the creator who made us and loves us. If nothing else, I think it's important to pray for faith. We cant always have understanding, though that's probably worthwhile to pray for, but we can always have faith and trust that God is good and loves us and ultimately makes all things work for the good.
I've also had an epiphany. A blessing that's come from not getting things I want, kind of a silver lining, has been that I don't see anything in this life that's worth cucking to evil and losing my soul over. Look at the way evil wicked people live, how cheaply people sell their souls. There's a hidden blessing there, I think. Not even having the option to become rich or have lots of women, or wield power, etc.
