I would say there's zero reason not to try it, and it's not annoying or unreasonable.
However, it's similar to setting up an alert or something that becomes too noisy. It may be effective initially, perhaps even the second time around, but eventually, it leads to alert fatigue and you ignore it. Then it just becomes UI noise.
I'd imagine the incoming zaps from it will steadily decrease - just a gut feeling though.

Maybe so, but its still a centralized platform controlled by a company and has already been shown to be corruptable by powerful people.

I agree, for daily scrolling and posting its very reliable and "just works". I also think it uses less data but we'll see, in the process of comparing.
The only thing I dislike is the wallet that atraches itself permenantly to your npub, but to be fair Im currently working in DMs with Primal team to undo this part!
GrapheneOS is a de-googled Android OS with hardened security, and privacy centric features. Famously used recommended by @Snowden at some point.
I really do recommend it if you have a compatible Pixel device. Theres a slight learning curve to get it setup but after that its easy.
Its worth noting that you can still use Google apps and use Google Play Store with it, if you choose to. 👍

eg. if person I follow takes time to write a great reply to a thread, then thinks some of their followers might appreciate it, repost away I say.
I agree to an extent. The world is where it is, and if you let down your defenses someone WILL take advantage. Those are the current rules, and even in a more peaceful world there will always be someone waiting to prey on weakness.
BUT, we as people have zero say in WHEN to fight. They use our money and productivity to fund wars that benefit only a tiny number of powerful peoples, and now they need our sons and daughters to man the guns and get blown to pieces too.
Fuck that! If you want me or my family to fight, if you want my money (productivity and time) I want to know and agree on what exactly we're fighting for.
