Hi @jb55 if I want to send someone a DM, I expect to tap on envelope icon, see list of old dm’s, and then see a + sign (make new note) and paste in someone’s npub or nip5.
But I do not see anything like that.
Do you agree this would be an intuitive ux?
But the stupid/inefficient thing is to tax *everybody* and then give free healthcare to *everybody*. All incentives to spend money wisely is lost.
Only tax the richer folks to support the poorer ones, but no needless circulation of money via tax and handouts to the same ppl.
"The Netherlands is planning an exit tax for people who want to emigrate, in the hope of keeping them."

Totally agree. If one wants the functionalities covenants could offer, just implement it in a Layer 2, and play covenants game over there.
But leave our Btc blockchain alone!
The Netherlands has been blocking a European law against online child abuse for years. Not because The Hague is against the approach to abuse, but because experts say it is a bad bill. Under pressure from the Ministry of Justice, that blockade is now in danger of expiring.

This looks very dangerous, sorry to say. My wife had a tiny cut in the palm of her hand when peeling an apple, and it got swollen like yours, she was directed to emergency dept of the hospital , the immediatly operated (cut open 2 inches in zig zag pattern), she ended up staying in hospital bed for 3 days! Watch out. I think it was called cangrene.
It would be great if we had in Nostr a live stream chat like the comments side bar in YouTube, so we could yell to Apple and each other during the livestream, for example.
I love Primal, how it helps in discovery.
Request: I would love to see an Algo/filter like
Trending 24hr in <German>
or any other language of course.
(Don't know how difficult/burdensome it is to perform language detection on each note)
@miljan
But, the gains are (largely) not real. They are the result of inflation. You generally cannot buy more stuff with your assets after a couple of years. (except some lucky hits like early investors of bitcoin and tesla)
Libertarians are afaik not against policing and fining and putting behind bars those that are agressive, violent, illegal, dishonest or show no respect for private property of others, or the commons (e.g. polluting). Also, a country must try and defend itself against foreign agression. (So an army is a necessary evil, in the real world)
Libertarians don't want to be forced by government=others regarding things that should be voluntary*, thus left to individual choices:
education, media, healthcare, insurances, housing, money, entrepreneurship, contracting, running businesses, investing, pensions, science, speech, religion, sports, gender madness, energy usages, food, arts and culture and so on.
Also, interference by the state in other nations is seen as something that should not be done, as it is more than bare minimum, i.e. self defense.
*)Everything not criminal / illegal
Welcome, Neil, imho Nostr needs MODERATED GROUPS like Reddit and Telegram.
In the mean time, use Primal, it has some Algo's (like Trending, Most Zapped) that helps a bit with discovering peeps.
Revealing home experiment: with your eye closed and nose pinched , taste a slice of a banana and then a slice of cooked and unsalted potato and try to describe the differences in taste.
At first sight, it seems strange that debt is so much larger than cumulative deficit.
the difference is in house and other assets valuations , i assume?
