I truly believe it’s going to be the people who really get it going out of their way to tell the people who make them uncomfortable. The people they’d rather not have invade their space are the people who need it most.
I got a glimpse of how things really could change when Pomp made an appearance on the Joe Budden podcast. I’m not a fan of Pomp’s at all but his appearance in conjunction with Clubhouse really shook the table.
It’s not going to be easy but I believe it can happen.
The fact that black America is not having a conversation about the US bitcoin reserves acting as fulfillment of the reparative measures instituted during reconstruction is beyond me.
Bitcoin’s ability to be broken down into micropayments makes it a win-win. It’s literally the generational wealth that blacks have historically been unable to attain.
Folks wanting symbolic gestures of change instead of demanding tangibles is heartbreaking. Conditioned helplessness is a mothereffer. nostr:note15lzp8ylmw2hd36xtlwrgsef48up3pcc65rnkzxsdh2zqg90pgpuskn7urz
Nope, you’ve got it all wrong. If it’s bitcoin it’s not coming from the people it’s coming from the government and what they’ve seized. America has a habit of not paying its debts and this is one of them. My proposition is a calling on the debt.
It’s not about slavery. It’s about black Americans being promised something and activists who stood up to reclaim it being killed at the hand of the government while it distracted blacks into helplessness. Blacks are the only ethnic group in America unable to have protections, political standing, or repayment for the atrocities endured. We were promised 40 acres and a mule and given nothing.
When the Japanese were forced into internment camps they were paid reparations. When the chinese were exploited during the opium crisis in the west, they were given reparative benefits. When the Italians were forced into slums and ghettos they were given opportunities to open banks. Even gays have coalitions to ensure their people receive reparations when mistreated.
And with you 🫂💜 I don’t see how this is divisive… I’m asking my government to repay its debt. Black Americans are Americans who have died for this country.
It’s our home country and we can’t trace our history back to anywhere other than America. American English is our language and American soil is where our bodies return.
Sure, humans oppress each other but this isn’t personal. It’d be completely different if the US government hadn’t offered it to us but they did. This isn’t an issue between blacks and whites this is an issue with the government going back on its word and blacks being killed for demanding them to pay up.
Why do you think whites and blacks have been conditioned to not get along??
Indeed. It was Plessy v Ferguson that established the privilege however when it was overturned and integration forced systemic change the tertiary consequences are what we are dealing with now.
It’s funny how people believe the government and media lie about everything except what’s affiliated with blackness. The textbooks and statistics are 100% on the up and up with that 😂😂😂
Maybe it’s the language barrier?? Idk what you’re not getting. The US government seized the bitcoin it’s irrelevant of the taxpayer so nobody is being robbed… plus they aren’t going to give it back to the person they took it from.
It makes sense that you wouldn’t understand the nuance of being American because you’re not from the US and don’t have to deal with the propaganda, zoning, healthcare system, education system, government operations, and social turmoil that have been and continue to impact black Americans.
I have a grievance with MY government not someone else’s.
Sure, administrations change but there are consequences for the behavior of each administration.
Blacks are already separated from the masses and have been. It was once the law that we were to remain separate but equal. We then had to stand before the Supreme Court to have it overturned… maybe it’s not your fight to have.
I’m curious, if it was what argument would you make? Is it an argument that benefits Black Americans?? Or just another way to tell us to shut up, don’t ruffle feathers, and deal with having less than 1% of the wealth?? 🫂💜🌻
I’m not asking for extra help nor compensation. When the North beat the south the newly established black American class was given things by the government which was forcibly taken away after they killed Lincoln. I’m only asking for what is owed.
And No, American slavery started because Europeans were looking to acquire land and build wealth. First, indigenous people were used for the settlements but their immune systems weren’t equipped. Africans had been around Europeans for years so the Catholic Church suggested Africans be used to help settle the new colonies.
Race by definition is a competition. The black American people were intentionally left out of the US free market for as long as possible.
Look at Kamala Harris and even Obama… the symbol of who they are and what they represent was used to manipulate American emotions into voting against themselves. Neither of them grew up black but politically it was easier to push that agenda for votes than it was to actually stand behind someone who’d make it better for the black community… those people tend to end up dead. Trumps done a lot for black people and they tried to kill him. Look at Lincoln and JFK.
It seems like the argument would circle but with education maybe things can change. It’s not an easy conversation to have but having it is progress 🌻🫶🏽🫂
I’m not arguing for equal rights at all. Equality is a myth and ideology perpetuated by liberals, neo communists, and The Democratic Party… it’s separatist in essence because it tokenizes black people/economic underclass and conditioned us into helplessness.
The Special Field Order 15 of 1865 was created so the newly freed blacks would have access to the free market… with the assassination of Lincoln the order was ignored and what blacks were given was taken from them by force. Therefore, something is owed to us and things are unequal.
When the Japanese were forced to live in concentration camps during WW2 they were given reparations for what was seized unfairly… it’s the same principle.
If the shoe were on the other foot, I would choose to fight so that whoever was owed was paid their due because it’s not right for people to be promised something and then have it stolen away… it’s weird that other people can’t do the same for us.
I just don’t understand why it’s such an issue for black Americans to ask for wrongs to be made right … especially when it was done for others. It sucks feeling lesser than knowing historically we as a people are supposed to feel that way. Not all whites owned slaves but the government benefited from it and went out of their way to make sure we never gained a solid footing afterwards.
I hate that this has turned into name calling. I’m not a statist, a reverse racist, or separatist. My life doesn’t suck, my needs are met, and I don’t feel oppressed. I love America and I’m proud to be a black American. I understand the history of my people and see how gov propaganda has ushered us as a collective into our current predicament.
I see Bitcoin as a solution. I was making a statement about that because what’s currently being proposed is unattainable. Tomorrow is new day. Have a good one.

Look, you’re looking at the trees and can’t see the forest. It’s not a time hop. In that 150 years Blacks went from capital to capitalist with a proclamation. The very people who aimed to help them figure out how to cope with it were killed and the narrative usurped. We ultimately received gestures instead of what was owed. Then we were psychologically terrorized into acceptance via violence and violent organizations.
I have family members in their 80’s and 90’s. In their lifetime it was illegal for blacks to know how to read/ write, walk in the front doors of white owned establishment, address a white person by their first name, look a white woman in the face, marry a white person, attend a white church, vote, own a house in certain neighborhoods, or use anything labeled “whites only”.
I grew up with a grandmother who was so light skinned she could pass for white but chose not to and therefore suffered from “uppity nigger” syndrome. She taught me to be proud of being black but to not trust whites because they’ll work with you and not have you over for dinner. I don’t believe that today but it’s a testament to 150 years not being so far away.
My mom told me about being in the 7th grade before having a white classmate and how it was dangerous to befriend them because they could lie and have you killed without recourse. She had classmates who went shopping with white girlfriends who shopped lifted and blamed their black friend next thing you know the black girl went missing.
I’m not a victim but it’s wild that you don’t understand how 150 years ago easily bleeds into the way people relate to the world today. Thanks for the conversation though, I appreciate you.
Good Morning!
On our quest for humility we should also find ways to be generous. When you get you give, when you learn you teach.
Keep learning, keep growing!

Possibly. Mandarins aren’t very juicy but I don’t think the color changes which is I why I’m nervous to call it an orange. It’s also a little tart and the kernels are spherical not oblong.
My pleasure!!! My favorite fruit stand is in Cangrejera on the way to the airport if you go towards the Puerta instead of San Salvador. They have so many things and the people are so happy to help you find the best tasting ones!!
If you have any 311 on the playlist you should definitely stop it there. It’s kinda full circle… or you could add enough to get an even 24 hours so it’s like a day of awesome music.
I don’t really use Reddit so I can’t answer that honestly.
I genuinely enjoy discussing everything except stuff that has to do with numbers😂 it’d be nice to have a community of girly girls that discuss nails, makeup, jewelry, clothes, and sip tea with. I think that’d be really fun. Or even a hiphop community where we talk about what’s happening with urban fashion, hip hop music, and sneakers.
I totally get the vision.
Good Morning #nostr!
It’s easy to forget that we are all individuals carrying burdens that are heavy, uncomfortable, unpredictable, and/or unrelenting.
Nostriches aren’t a monolith. Each of us has individual needs, concerns, and desires. We all bring something unique to the protocol with every note, boost, like, and zap.
Whatever your reason for being here … thanks. Thanks for sharing, replying, and conversing. You have so much to offer the world and it’s an honor to be here with you.
Whether you like me or find me annoying, I love you. I appreciate your contributions, I’m grateful for your life and your struggles. It’s made you who you are and I’m happy to learn from you. You’re a blessing.
Pura Vida Yall 🫂💜🧡🌻
Congratulations on your freedom!!! I’m so proud of you for stepping away and doing what’s best for you!! It’s not easy going against the grain especially when your family and friends aren’t supportive.
Way to be🦾🌻 Super excited for what’s to come for you!!
Have fun while taking life seriously. Be deliberate in all things.
Get married to someone who challenges you to grow, encourages you to be better, makes you feel heard, apologizes, and wants to be married just as much as you do.
I haven’t seen that one… since you already have the suit maybe you could be the Liotta meme 😂😂 or keep the Christian Bale thing going and dress like Michael Burry in Big Short.
Whatever you do I’m sure you’ll have fun. Glad you had fun your first time dressing up!!
That’s a really good point 😂😂 Once, I dressed up as Amber Rose thinking if I put a tattoo across my bald cap people would get it instantly. They were so confused I had to go to the dollar store and get a “Hi, My name is” sticker... 3/10 don’t recommend 😂😂😂
I’ve been A Vampire, Tilda Swinging the Roller Derby Babe, Mrs. Claus, The rabbit from Goodnight Moon, and Sugahmomma from the Proud Family.
Don’t suggest being a children’s book character … that’s one people definitely don’t get right away 😂😂
Honestly, that’s my problem. I love dressing up so much I don’t ask myself “Are you the only one who gets this”. I show up to the parties and most people are like 🤨… 🤣🤣
kind of. I don’t like spending a lot of money on costumes so I choose characters that I can create with things I already have or will want to wear again later. That’s really the hardest part.
My favorite feature on #damus is the pfp tap to follow. I love that it protects me emotionally so I don’t have to care about followers. I can just tap and follow people I find intriguing.
Sometimes when I wanna break my own heart I’ll look to see if the npub I’m going to follow follows me back … they usually don’t and I’m like “that’s what I get for seeking validation” 😂😂 Gahhh, I love this protocol so much. It’s making me into a stronger person 💜🧡💜
#thoughtstr
I go back and forth with it. Sometimes I think it’d be really cool but then I don’t know if it makes sense because how would you know who you’re following if you don’t keep track of it. Idk it’s way too technical for my brain 😂
Oh ok. I’m sorry you’re dealing with so much. I’m not autistic but I have an uncle who is. It’s often easier for him to retreat/shutdown than it is for him to handle complex emotions and I always reassure him that that’s ok.
I understand the feeling of an impending doom, being in mental crisis, and having nobody to relate to. It can be isolating and lonely. I can only imagine how intense those feelings are for you. 🫂💜 You are strong, resilient, and valuable.
You have to take care of yourself and do whatever you feel will protect your peace. Nostr is awesome but at times can be a bit much to process and internalize.
It’s cool that you’ve acknowledged your struggle and are courageous enough to step away. We all embarrass ourselves sometimes but as someone who can go off the deep end when embarrassed I’m so inspired by your proactivity.
It’ll be here when you return and so will people who are excited to welcome you back to the protocol!!
Pura Vida friend. You are loved 🫂🌻💜🧡
