Slowly prepping to change workplace for a better one. Should make me happy but it's sad. There's a story here and I'm leaving it behind. I was supposed to make it from the shittiest place. There's a story here and it didn't end the way it was supposed to.
You are making it from there though. Of that goal, you are succeeding.
"Making ot" is a difficult thing to measure. I guess I was expecting much more from myself. I tought I would leave here to get a 2k/M appartement or rent a warehouse you know. But that's probably ridiculous. Still, I was expecting myself to leave triumphant. I'm not really, but I did ok.
I've been in that boat. For me it was, "After this place, I'm no longer renting (and getting a washer)." That was four years and four addresses ago. For me, this type of experience reminds me to always aim beyond my target. Btw, that's the "trick" to breaking a wooden board with your bare fist. Keep your goals and dreams. Falling short means you're still headed in the right direction.
Wanna see where I've been working and *living* for the past 1.5 years? https://video.nostr.build/5cf471ac46005efcb0f400e3e93a59395a1ac3ec2e3c28e12b5f1fb699e39295.mp4 About 2 years ago I was living in my car for fun with some bitcoin in my head. But my dumbass started leverage trading (gambling) again and I lost pretty much everything. So I didn't waste a single second and started to build somethings to get back on my feets. I took the first place I could immediately start to work in. There was no time to waste. It was a divine coincidentally that this place was a very old tannery. 250 sqft, no lock on my door, no private bathroom, no shower, no kitchen. It was dumb. I know it was. But I didn't care. I didn't care until it had been 1 year. The last 6 month have been rough and now I have to make the decision and move. Move to build back better. In a place with higher vibes and I feel safe and comfortable. 1.5 years ago I was basically homeless as a doordash driver with ZERO experience in leathercraft and since then I built theleathermint.com Thank you for coming to my Ted talk nostr:nevent1qqsxaklrmynsnh7dh0h2rxc39marsagq8cqsxzm9274kaathfrchtscpvemhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0dec82c33wcc8gen2wc6kz6rjxd3nyd3sdf685ertx4mngwrtwfjhyunwddnnsendvdhxxdtvwpnh26esw9jxzvp5v4ch5mfnd5ek20mzwfhkzerrv9ehg0t5wf6k2q3qv0tfjv5ahr3c260jtzdk5w48krerrnkg8fmcnc5lpguk0qda04eqxpqqqqqqz2uz7y8
Do you take commissions?
I did a lot yes. I've started going away from it for multiple reasons and, right now, my setup isn't so good. But what's on your mind? What would you like?
I’m looking for a simple belt bag with a silver buckle. Everyone that I’ve come across has either been clunky, made of nylon, or looks too much like a fanny pack. It’s as if a belt with bag that’s tiny enough to act as a pocket but big enough to hold an iPhone and a lip gloss isn’t worth designing.
I think I see what you're looking for and I found one. You'd be looking for something like this but with a buckle right? https://image.nostr.build/0770d5cac46ddd874156e706486360627dd9b51e88841e5e930d152bce7153fc.jpg I can't tell you yes I'm going to do this now because I'm not that skilled yet that I can just do anything, for me everything is still a learning process, but it's a cool project and I'll definitely keep it in mind :)
Yes! I totally understand 😊
