Day 3 of floor sleeping was successful. I'm pretty much used to it now, but there isn't much noticable difference between sleeping on the ground and sleeping on my bed now that I'm comfortable on both.
I'll keep it up for a few more days and then, I dunno, sleep on the ground whenever I feel like it.
Good morning ✌️🧡

I've been gradually introducing ground sleeping these past two nights. I can't make it the whole night, so I just move back to my bed. I'll keep it up until I can sleep on the ground all night.
I came across this thread and decided to try it out.

Dunno I'm just trying it out to see if it's worth doing. It's mildly in the same direction as my goal to be able to sit on the floor and meditate for longer, and it's a good skill to have cause then I can sleep anywhere.
In the long run, I don't know if it'll become my nightly driver, so to speak. But if I can sleep on the ground as easily as in a bed, it's worthwhile. And if it does help my posture and stuff, even better.
Once I steal a gif from somewhere, I'll put it in Gimp to resize and brighten them up so they're not so dark:
- resize/crop to 128x128px (can do this at the end too)
- hide all but the bottom layer, which is the first frame
- apply a curve filter to increase the contrast so you can make out the contents when it's small
- unhide all of the layers and re-apply the curve filter to all of the layers (ctrl-f I think)
- export as an animated gif
- upload to nostr.build and then add the link to emojito
There was one case where I had to retrack one guy's face into the frame because the camera was moving too much. It's the one of the guy saying What the Fuck and shaking his head.
Normally individuals will choose to filter out the content that they hate. Since that content can't be forced through via an algorithm, the muting provides friction for the undesired content to spread.
I think very few people naturally like seeing things they hate to stew in their negative emotions. The rest are the victims of targeted propaganda efforts to keep them in a state of fear and anger.
I've basically just boiled it to down to "natural unprocessed foods". All the other diets are just subsets of that.
But addiction is something else entirely. Maybe Bitcoin will fix you right up.
