I'm not sure how to share things correctly on #amethyst maybe this works
Yea, fair enough.
I frequently use an x200, so I needed to figure out something more lightweight. Also, if I wasn't able to use vim, I would never write anything. NVChad is perfect for me. I can't imagine a faster workflow.
As a novice coder, it has been invaluable. I don't have time to read through an entire documentation, just to figure out that the library can't do what I want. I have an unrelated day job. I just want to ask "how do I do X with Y library, or is there a better library I should be using?"
It points me in the right direction so I can actually read the *relevant* docs. I am a novice coder, but I am very familiar with hallucinations. I've been running local models for a couple years now. I understand that it's just a next token predictor.
That said, you might find some benefit in allowing a model to autofill boilerplate code for you. I don't program enough for it to be worth my time to set that up (I also use NVChad and there aren't a lot of easy tutorials for that, like there are with something like sublime or vscode)

I have only learned to program in python. It is the first programming language I used where I could actually make a functional program quickly. Actually being able to get results that I wanted really motivated me to keep learning. I am not a professional Dev, but I have pushed multiple projects to github. Some of them AI related, most of them not.
I understand that it's slow, and I understand why, but I can still make anything that I can imagine in python. That's why I use it.
If Alice and Bob have only a single channel opened between them, when the channel closes, are all of the back and forth transactions commited to the block chain, or just the final balance?
The amount that the markets take off the top would have destroyed any profit. I was going to do that, but predictit is terrible. 10% off the top and either 3% or 5% of anything that you transfer out. Total ripoff
It still pisses me off that fixing it was passed unanimously in the house and then just died before the senate even voted. They finally had a chance to do something good and just said, "fuck you" instead.
