We’re proud to announce that Bitkey has been recognized on TIME’s Best Inventions of 2024 list in Privacy & Security! 🎉 A huge step forward in simplifying bitcoin self-custody for everyone. https://time.com/7094838/block-bitkey/
It would be really cool if it there was expanded interoperability with other open source wallet software. The ability to reproduce the wallet on sparrow in the event of catastrophe/verify transactions with my own node would be amazing. I know the product is intentionally designed to obfuscate that complexity, but for more technical users that would be an excellent improvement. With that being said, congrats to you and the team on a great product!
When will Bitkey offer inheritance planning?
Well deserved. Geeking out over on the design and experience of Bitkey is one of my recent past times. You guys did a killer job on this.

Congrats man! Big time. Great work 🙌🏽🔐
Recovery possible with sever key even if I lose everything else? Now I have to trust a third party and their server? https://m.primal.net/LrMQ.jpg
Social recovery. You’re using the server key and an encrypted copy of your mobile key that is provided to a trusted contact.
Just to clarify... by "simplifying bitcoin self-custody" you mean keeping 2 out of 3 private keys on servers while preventing users from exporting the third key from the "hardware wallet", effectively locking users in?
Don't worry, it also forces you to backup your wallet with google services, so nothing to worry about.
