 What supplements is generally recommended for young men? D3+K2 and Mg Glycinate seems to be recommended alongside real food like red meat and eggs? Anything else I should consider? Omega 3 oils? 
 Drop the D3 and get sunlight, or use a D-Light (built by a bitcoiner) based.getchroma.co I've been using one for a few years now, it's awesome. 
 Where I live, we won't have sun until spring basically. The D-light seems scary, I know nothing about it or the science behind it. Seems safer to just use supplements then? 
 Supplementing vitamin D doesn't act the same in your system as endogenously produced vitamin D. UVB light converts pre vitamin D in your skin to vitamin D that's functional in the body.

 I take those along with Vitamin C, creatine, and a cheap multivitamin. This one covers most bases and not overly dosed like most with 3-5x RDA.

 Thanks, forgot about Vitamin C and Creatine. I read that creatine is not only great if you're doing any sort of resistance training, it's also great for your brain. 
 I like algae oil over fish oil for the omega 3s. Fish get it from eating the algae, but also concentrate other toxins. Algae can be grown cleanly on land. 
 So the algae oil is better for your body than fish oil? Is it also cheaper since you can grow it "cleanly on land"? 
 I'd say it's likely to be less bad due excluding the risk of bio-accumulation of things. I suspect fish oil is cheaper because most fish oil is made from the waste of fish processing. Algae oil production is probably smaller scale too.

Some people really like algae oil because it doesn't give them "fish burps" like fish oil can.

 Additionally I'd suggest MSM and GLYCINE.
MSM [methylsulfonylmethane (CH3)2SO2 ]. It is a sulphur compound with positive effects on cartilage regeneration (osteoarthritis) and the immune system. I take it together with GLYCINE [C2H5NO2], a non-essential amino acid.
Both approx. 1 teaspoon daily, but 3-4 months are necessary to feel the effects. 
 Of course supplement intakes are (as everything) highly individual, most obviously depending on where you live, your diet and lots of other parameters. So you need to find out for yourself 😉
