These stories loaded side by side. Funny (or depressing?) juxtaposition. https://m.primal.net/KsnC.png
Canada died a long time ago. I’ve spent a lot of time there. Most people are just zombies. Sad to see.
Are you American? Canadian here. Ive felt a disconnect from the masses here for over a decade. Can you elaborate your observation. Genuinely curious
Southpark accurately covers my thoughts on all Canadiens for reference. They hit the mark 100%.
Canada wil be absorbed by my country and we will give montreal the option to do its own thing.
Montreal was such a depressing dump. I call is the grey concrete city of trash. 🗑️ And I was there a lot. Oh & a shit ton of retarded traffic.
My benevolent dictatorship will be prosperous.
They are workers. Canadien slavery isn’t a bad idea. Annex & put those nice dumb bastards to work. Pay them in hockey pucks & beef Jerky.
No need for slavery when you have the right incentive structures. Everyman will be free to choose his fate. Details on incentives to follow.
Nah. Slavery. Earn their way out. They can be slippery little fuckers.
Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I feel disconnected from everything that is happening here.

I do what I can, when I can, but I don't have much hope. I was thinking that, when we did the massive trucker protest, people would clue in, but unfortunately not. I think what we managed to do however is solidify the lines between who's on our side and who isn't. I don't think the disconnection comes from an avoidance of reality, but from an understanding that we so fundamentally disagree that there's no point in any more dialect.
Oooof. That woman is vile!
Oh you young thing... This is nothing new. Back when you were late teens/early 20s we had 40yr amorts and the conservatives under Flaherty played with all sorts of schemes because "affordability". I also saw a Toronto Star front page with the TREB President claiming 400k Toronto home prices were "unsustainable". Here's a decent comedy bit about those times and how they play us. https://youtu.be/KhFED9glZWA
Inspiring, there is another way. An alternative to the IMF and their cynical manipulation of entire countries. The tide has turned, just a matter of time now
