Don't know who needs to hear it, but most "privacy" browsers are poison pills that still communicate with the Google API's (looking at you, "Brave")
So far the only highly functional browser I feel passes muster is Ungoogled Chromium. Yes there are some inconveniences, but...fuck them. Fuck them running.

About 10 yrs ago my wife told me that she wanted something called a "Miele" vac for Christmas (yes, seriously....don't worry, I got her other stuff too...I'm not an idiot). The price tag shocked the heck out of me, but except for one pretty cheap repair this thing has been rock solid. Incredible performance. Sometimes "German made" lives up to expectations.

Similar. I drank Covid Nouveau in Jan '20, got sick as hell, and then until feb '23 never had another sniffle vs. a norm of 3-4 colds and at least 2 serious sinus infections per year. Our social life never changed throughout (we're stubborn like that). That original bug was a turboimmunocharger
