This guy was born with a digestive disorder. He's now 12 years old. We've managed to keep it at bay til now, but all the treatments have stopped working. So he is in his last days. He is supposed to be my wife's cat, and I'm not really a cat person, but he's made me his person. He follows me around and sleeps next to me. When I lay on the couch, he lays on my chest. Every day for weeks, ive had to clean up after him lots, ncluding bloody stuff but now his is starting to have pain thats too much.

So sad to hear. They weasel their way into our hearts, and we can't bear it when they are in pain. 12 years is a good run, but Ah, phooey! End of life issues are rough!

Since my wife passed, our cat has become my cat, he want's to sit in my lap & leave hair on my laptop. I hate it for you, Pete is all I've got, something happens to him I'm on my own. I hate it for you, they are family.
