Oh no, was talking about my stack of Madex and needing to be added to. I accept my bitcoin stack is always vulnerable, as @Parker Lewis says, a stack is for spending…. I paraphrase.
Went out for an afternoon pint with a colleague (during work, cause you know, all time highs and the like). He made a joke about Bitcoin getting to 75k, I smiled and corrected him “76k”.
You may view it as a speculative asset, but the institutions are here, and they have less control of it than your house, your pension, your job and any investments you may hold. So yesterday was pretty fun, but it’s a marathon, not a sprint, and if any of you actually trust a politician to deliver and not just pursue their own goals, maybe you need to think about how that’s worked in the past.

And yesterday we have the education minister (uk), after saying no fee increases, university tuition fees are being raised in line with inflation (1.9%), sorry kids but there are some other factors (also, don’t go to uni, learn some life skills and read some books instead).
Since a freeze on tuition fees, prices compound so (actual) price inflation has not far off doubled (I know from my own wages or the amount of high rate tax), so a 1.9% increase is a drop in the bucket, add in the 1.5% employer national insurance rise. This is a world of pain for universities.
Then add in that the government’s beady eyes will soon be focusing on whether unis are delivering value for money for students….. there are a lot of “education institutions” that will be running scared and managers looking to bleed the academics even more. And that is not even including all those universities that are already in functionally insolvent. #grownostr #fallofrome (maybe a touch hyperbolic, but something will crumble)
