guys I think Russian literature will be the reason I die alone
realistically, how many women want a relationship like Natasha has with Aliosha, or Raskolnikov has with Sonia?
The 'how many' doesn't matter.
What matters is the experience with her. Like:
Do you really pay attention to what I'm telling you?
Do you feel that being with me is what you want?
Do you have any doubts?
I'll be able to feel these things, but I need her to say them out loud, in the most sincere way.
I want a partner-in-crime, someone who doesn't want to fight but build together, you know?
It's pretty basic stuff, but somehow it's so hard to find people like this.
or read Dostoevsky
try to understand every feeling
you have to realize...
you are worth fighting for

Real estate as a store of value will die.
Self-autonomous machines will construct everything in a coordinated manner, operating without breaks and far more efficiently than humans.
This will cause prices to drop.
The only appreciating asset will be sound money.
I do think they're gonna fire RFK Jr.
They'll find a reason

so i went out with this woman, she's pretty cool and really nice. after a week, though, she told me she's only interested in friendship. kinda sad, but i'm glad she made it clear after a week instead of months later. that would've been painful. i'm not interested in just friendship, and i can't see her that way, but we left things on good terms.
