Primal had to remove support for external wallets when they released on the AppStore (used to be able on TestFlight). It’s due to Apple not allowing tips for content unless they can profit.
From what I heard last year, I had the impression that they lean towards a socialist / CBDC agenda. But maybe it's worth another look.
Last year the german bitcoin community submitted multiple talks to them, which where all rejected. That resulted in Manu from the @MÜNZWEG podcast to protest in front of the venue.

1 and 2 should run with any S3 compatible storage. It's not enough to just store the data though - there is also some logic (docker based server) and a database (for ownership, payments..) required. So you need a place to run those as well.
I wanted to build (3) this on serverless components without having to run a docker container and a database anywhere. That's why I implemented that Cloudflare based project and it's APIs are not directly compatible.
This could be done similiarly on AWS mit Lambda Functions, Dynamo DB and S3.
NO it's very much centralized but it is my personal server.
Having multiple different storage locations makes it decentralized.
And building tools to move / distribute your data.
While it’s exciting, I‘m not convinced that we should implement a new torrent protocol here. On the other hand we might need ways to support larger files (and maybe folders or some kind of grouping).
For video streams we already have HLS streams/playlists which are already natively supported in browsers.
I am so impressed with everything Maya is doing and her well thought out plans for the future of Suriname.
@MeA_BzZz Please keep us updated on how it is going!
In a world of AI image generation I don't want a central service that decides that an image is "close enough" to the original. I want exactly the original image that the author intended. Cryptographically Identified by the hash.
Using nostr for this is so powerful. Just realized this when building a DVM. It can run anywhere (behind firewalls and VPNs) not reachable directly from the internet.
