Argentina is moving up my bucket list of places to visit. Quotes from Milei’s speech at UN toda...
In that podcast, he also mentions he doesn’t think the deal was made under Milei
 WHY NOSTR?

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

WHY SHOULD PEOPLE CARE?
The content you spend so much time creating on social media is actually yours.
What’s even the motivation behind this ReplyGuy pest? I don’t get it.
Continue doing offices, but make them for the activities that are better done in an office than at home, and offer them as a tool people can use, not a place people must go to.

Research about it here: https://www.leesmanindex.com/publications/the-workplace-reset/ nostr:note1hp8exl22h7xu5rgvlgx6lgfc9usad8j2pherkmjryrnxvf3hzm6sdcdnwm

I think you can get the logo for free 😄
My feed is full of peppers today 🌶️
What’s everyone’s game of choice these days? #gamestr
This might delay some Damus updates 😅
Considering trying Factorio too. Similar concept but the gameplay feels very different
I’m interested in architecture that pushes the limits and deviates from traditional cookie cutt...
 I really don’t get it nostr:note122zgdh2d6gx5v5ydmqjtwcy3rztjxte25rphssfl6r2qtua2fc5sventkz
Mainstream tech channels don’t even mention nostr.
Example: https://youtu.be/-R9CWq5CBlk?si=k_Yjeu0rFO62dmnn
Another example: Bluesky hired one of the most famous JS developers who in this podcast says Jack Dorsey lost interest in Bluesky cause he’s “more focused in bitcoin things”.
Nostr hasn’t made it to the agenda yet.

What's a Nostr app that you want to use more often, but don't. Why?
There were discussions about surveys, I guess it is a subset of that problem? 🤔

Funny that the day after hearing some talks at @BTCPrague pushing for classic revivalism (or at least presenting it as superior aesthetics), I went to take a look at Villa Müller, by Adolf Loos, the author of “Ornament and Crime”.

Ironically, he saw ornament as a state imposition:

“…the State, whose task it is to retard the cultural progress of the people, took up the fight for the development and revival of ornament.”

“All right, then, the plague of ornament is recognized by the State and subsidized by State funds. But I look on this as retrogression.”

“The immense damage and devastation wrought on aesthetic development by the revival of decoration could easily be overcome, for no one, not even governments, can arrest the evolution of mankind. It can only be retarded. We can wait.“ https://image.nostr.build/3207a13e36f6f1f4e47bf58d2995e62196088648235f6ae75e0c8a890ba56631.jpg
@jack mallers just gave the talk I can send to the friends who don’t have the attention span to read @Gigi Bitcoin is Time. (https://dergigi.com/2021/01/14/bitcoin-is-time/)

Great talk (and great essay)!
Super interesting when companies show where they source materials from, gives a hint at what different countries have specialized their production on.

However, countries get rich not by hosting the suppliers, but by hosting the sourcing companies, which capture more value.

Pretty excited about this ML framework for Rust! It's the sort of thing I wished existed, but am glad someone more competent than me built!
