Chocolate contains Mg, so perhaps it's the minerals you crave too? (other than the taste). Although, in its pure form (cocoa), it's bitter and far from sweet!
Flavor wise -- what do you typically gravitate towards?
Also, have you tried fortifying your shakes / smoothies with beef collagen powder? It's an awesome way to enrich the shit out of stuff!
Nice! I wasn't aware of that remedy.
Another method I've used is oil of oregano suspended in a carrier oil, such as olive oil, in conjunction with taking supplemental N-Acetyl Cysteine Ethyl Ester.
