I love the cp13! I've modded it with some clips to wear on my belt. It has a 20 hour lipo battery so that's one reason for the bulk.

I prefer AAs but eh.
How many of you keep an analog clock up in view, and actually read it? I just recently got mine w...
I have many. All of them are capable of receiving WWV and they all set themselves every day, including accounting for daylight savings.
So you can get an atomic clock with the reciever. If the reciever doesn't pick up the signal (try to get an ultra atomic one, it's the newer protocol), you can kinda hack it with your own DIY transmitter.

But, if you just want one get one of these: https://www.lacrossetechnology.com/collections/ultratomic-time

I've seen them for 50% off at Walmart though.
I kind of hate drawing lines like this, but honestly, at this point in the game, if you have any ...
If opensats claims to be what it is, I say they should remove him from the board.
Yeah I've written them of as a marketing/propaganda outfit. But I agree, they can reform if they choose.
I hadn't looked at the Ten31 fund list and the people involved in quite a while. Now I'm more sad 😔
We gotta start making copies of repos for software we use. I have a copy of bitcoin core but sadly not of nostr:nprofile1qqst2yn6pr8nxctzwjqq5su83qdflx8qfwwrwytwjt09y5zfsc6uggspypmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0v3jhyatwdejhyuewdejhgam0wf4j7qgmwaehxw309ahx7um5wgh8xct5dphkzunyv4ezucm0d5hszymhwden5te0danxvcmgv95kutnsw43z7f2mgdy BTClock, which is now gone.

I run gitlab locally and once you have it going it will constantly pull down changes.

It's not enough just to be open source and on a website, we should be activate stewards of projects.

I genuinely feel bad that I didn't bother to clone it. 😔
 And of course, emacs 😀
Ah shoot I said gitlab but meant gitea.
I think private copies are OK. Just the act of copying is doing something.

It's like running a relay and copying notes of people you like vs just running a client.

Or it could just be the hoarder in me 🤷‍♂️
I was at this talk. Travin is such an optimist, it's contagious. But the shit he went through just for some visas...

 Rip btclock

and as always fuck nvk and coinkite
Did he stop it? But yes, agree.
 Wat lol? Any deets?
Ah well, I generally dislike IP takedown like this, so I do emphasize.

So I'll just say I love my BTClock which is open source 😀
Oh wait, BTClock was copyright striked by coinkite?!?!

No I don't sadly
Fountain clips are nice. I wish they would honor the clips made by the Podcaster though as we'll in the rss feed.

Podverse does this nicely.

But for users wanting to make their own clips, it is nice.
Barista at Atlas Cafe keeps skipping tracks after about a minute. So annoying.
The next button on the CD player was a mistake. Although it's nice to cue tracks. 🤣
Ok, Bluey needs to f-off. Theres only so much wholesome I can stomach.
I know... I will admit there are some teary eyed episodes.
If you have not read Propaganda by Jacques Ellul, I highly recommend it. Especially to this crowd.

I performed a reading of my poem inspired by it:

I want to get into analog film! You developing this yourself?

Would you recommend this as a starter 35mm or what would you recommend?
Someone at work talked at me about the price of bitcoin. Was like being on nostr. 😤😉
But did they talk about on boarding new employees?
Tried to zap you but it failed. 🤷‍♂️

Always a fan of your collage style!
Do you know any writers who are here on Nostr? I'd love to check out their work 👍
Fiction or poetry? Here's my latest poem though 😀

Usenet addiction back in full swing. lmao.
 Which topics?
New batch of shells. Went with the glitter ones. Testing the tapes today then I will run 30.

This was a great talk by nostr:nprofile1qqsd4dkxqewy8xum47ctpu0ltgxxsfemeewpjkdyzk9ddfcg286s0dsppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qywhwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnzd96xxmmfdejhytnnda3kjctv9uq36amnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wvduhq6r9wfc82mnt9e6x7erp0yhs4deh46. I tried to bootleg it for him but accidently deleted the video so I'm glad it will be available.

I wish this was a podcast to listen to 😀 it would be great to have examples with the descriptions. I realize that's much more complicated, I'm not judging. Looking forward to reading.
 I know. I told him about nostr:nprofile1qqsr5qnsn6medetj3vexljqqvy99gfdrgsp7hs9f52kdvrryz6gwkrsppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qk8hxm.
You can do this as a video podcast. It's already supported in podcast clients like podverse. Check out what nostr:nprofile1qqsr5qnsn6medetj3vexljqqvy99gfdrgsp7hs9f52kdvrryz6gwkrsppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qk8hxm is doing with music videos and concerts and you'll get the idea.
I haven't installed a custom ROM on my Android smartphone in many years. The process for doing so...
I think Simulation is an anathema in the hobbyist world.

The question is do you want to simulate the arm cortex, the micropython environment, or those PIOs?

In short, no, I'm not aware of anything like what microchip offers for the Pico .
Well, qemu can do this. Qemu and gdb will let get pretty close. But, I'm sure you are aware of qemu.

The issue is for hardware integration you have to write the qemu drivers.

Now, in HDL you can do this exactly. You can simulate every clock cycle exactly as you say. Vivado can do this.

It can do this quite well for a microblaze or small riscv. But it would be intense for anything more complex.
Ghidra is good for reverse engineering, not so much forward.

Oh ok, yeah I think you'd like qemu and gdb. For supported microcontroller (popular ones) even the hardware is modeled nicely. Assembly writing and debugging is not a problem.

The issue is, if you chip is supported in qemu.
Nice dude! There's not many better moments than this! Thanks for the glimpse into your world.
“The propagandee, if deprived of one propaganda, will immediately adopt another; this will spare him the agony of finding himself vis-à-vis some event without a ready-made opinion, and obliged to judge it for himself.”

Jacques Ellul, Propaganda, 1965.
 Waning Gibbous.

A poem about propaganda.

 Thank you!
Thanks for having my track on the show again!

 Happy to have you!

Yeah the algo pushed this on me as well. I thought it was interesting. I recently also so a video where a Billie eilish vocal was cut up from 38 takes (she said that).

On one hand people cab say well, people like it, so who cares. But it does make me appreciate the old school way of recording perhaps.

Regarding the second one, solved with a cassette, it patiently remembers where you left off 😀
"Dear Dr. Leary, I was bummed at my job so you told me to quit, so I did. Now I feel like no one is telling me what to do anymore, except you."
I will check this out! How did you get that groovy effect on the cassette, it looks awesome!
I have a voice cameo on this YouTube video. This guy Ian is breaking down a Marshall McLuhan quote about education.

The cameo is in the beginning. But the rest of the video is an interesting comparison of the public education system. For this crowd, I don't think there will be many surprises however.

Thanks man, really appreciate that! Glad you enjoyed it!
Podcasting 2.0 FTW! Slides embedded as chapter art with audio. Might be cool to publish conferences talks like this instead of YouTube videos. 🤔

I'm a lifetime subscriber. When Emmanual moves on, I'll be sad for the magazine.

I'm also proud to have presented at HOPE back when it was in the Hotel P. But I heat the new venue is pretty cool.
 Bitcoin industry != Bitcoin community

This is a nuanced, but important distinction b/c incentive...
I like the punk aspect of seed signer. Build you own, DIY.

It's OK -- stay punk. People who get it, get it. People who don't are on bitcoin podcast circuit.

At your next conference I would make a zine about how to DIY self custody. I think it would go well with your message. As long as you self bind the zine that is.
My only regret is I wished I signed this tape. It's a 1 of 1. I left it on a table at BTC Nashville.

It's 40minutes of the word "trump" spoken by a synth with the hypnotoad sound from Futurama.

But I sincerely hope it sparks joy to whomever picked it up.
