Conclusion on Jekyll Island:
Jekyll was creepy AF. I would never want to be left alone in that island. It was spooky, covered by beautiful architecture and most heavenly trees.
Honestly, after leaving I do believe the things done on that island go far beyond our most darkest nightmares.

But I’m teaching the last class today for BTC Isla (before they officially graduate next week) and in the last chapter it talks about bitcoin being a revolution and how it its paving the way for a more equitable and decentralized future.
The word “equitable” keeps come back because how can it be equal if it rewards early adapters? And of those early adapters most if not all had access to a computer back in the early days.
It isn’t equal to those in poverty though, that have no such resources.
Why is it that the poor always get the short end of the stick?
What do I mean by that? Well the less you have the harder it is for you to succeed, yet the more you have, easier it is for you to reach the top.

Class number 8 has been postponed because of the storm. Hopefully the weather chills out so the students can graduate soon.

Okay so, what I’ve gather from the elections here in Mexico is the following.
There are three main parties, MORENA, PAN and PRI.
MORENA is currently in control with the president Lopez Obrador. PAN and PRI have joined forces this election.
Here’s where it gets crazy, in the regions where the MORENA is losing, the voting stations are being lit on fire. Getting bomb threats. People getting paid to vote for MORENA. Things are getting wild.

Elections were in Mexico yesterday, so I went to one of the voting sites in Isla Mujeres. Not gonna lie, it looks pretty easy to forge votes.

Elections are happening tomorrow in Mexico, and not ONE candidate is pro #bitcoin or has been a topic of conversation in the debates.
We are still early.
We are only 3 classes away from being the first BTC Isla graduating class and welcoming 4 new bitcoiners to the world!
This class was technology packed. We discussed UTXOs, double spending, hash, mempool, tried a new wallet out, and found a way to earn #bitcoin by playing games.
