Built some 2” pipe handrails for the side hustle today, and realized I was kind of tired of my cheap apron just swinging all around at the bottom. Got home, got supper and put the youngins and wife to bed, now I’m up after cutting and stitching on my apron to turn it into a split leg style and make the pockets more functional lol
And yes, I’m in the floor in my kitchen.

My wife was on a podcast a while back, the episode just came out a couple weeks ago. Thought I’d share it here.
PS: there’s actually quite a bit edited out of this episode, like the fact we cut contact with my mom and had to move a couple months prior to my dad passing, and that in December after my first daughter was born I had to have my Australian shepherd, who had been with me for almost exactly a decade, put down.

Yeah that sounds like some shit me and my buddy would do. That crane on the back of my truck is actually off an engine hoist, welded to a hub assembly from an early 90’s dodge diesel for the pivot lol
To be fair, that false antiquing with paint is where the money is. Source: me and my wife have Sold many a piece that wouldn’t sell before paint, and for more money.
I did pay my bills one slow summer a couple years ago building benches from 2x4’s and 2x6’s though, most of those were a simple stain and poly. Sold ‘em for like 4x the cost of materials lol
Thanks man! Still got a long way to
Go to get it where I want it, but I can at least get started on making some money with it. In fact, possibly be doing some heavy equipment repair on the 4th lol
Indeed. Got big plans for the pathfinder too if I can ever get back around to it. Just far more money in mobile welding around here than it is being a handyman lol
Not exactly. You could use it in place of the Vaseline in this little trick video.
Generally speaking stuff like tallow and Vaseline don’t hold flame very well by themselves. You soak a cloth (wick) or cotton ball or other such easily lit object and not only does that object become water resistant but it now lights easier and burns longer.
Yeah, that’s what I was trying to say but kept wanting to say stratify but then argued with myself for like 5 minutes as to whether or not that was the right word lol I’ve been up since 3am (it’s just now almost 7 here in North Carolina), and am 2 dips, 2 cigarettes and half an energy drink in lol
‘Nother Day, ‘Nother sat. Hurry up and wait status currently. Maybe eventually they’ll give us a couple silos to test the scales on, til then I’m getting paid to sit in the shade.
Also, #HydrateOrDie folks, it’s a hot one out here.

My favorite is when I come home to find my wife scrolling TikTok, she continues to scroll TikTok for the next hour or better, then complains that she hasn’t had time to do anything around the house. Lol
I can’t tell you the last time I ate any chicken, it all seems to not have any taste. But a hunk of some grass fed beef or pasture raised pork, yes please lol. We tried some local wagyu a few months back (heavily grain fed beef) and even my oldest daughter left it sitting on her plate, while normally she’s picking out the meat and leaving the rest.
All that to say, it may be worth trying to find some local grass fed beef and pork, or even chicken, just to give it a shot and see if it makes any difference in the “funny taste” you referred to. There’s also some theories out there that you shouldn’t be eating all kinds of stuff from other places, because those plants don’t have the same circadian rhythms and the nutrient profiles from those other places may not be what’s needed in your area. Not sure how much credence I put into that but it is something I consider. I’ve not managed to find a local cattle farm I can make work with our schedule so most of our beef comes from Aldi.
Agenda for today; make some racks for my chain binders in the truck, followed by hopefully having time left to get started on building a crane for the truck. We shall see how the day goes.
I may not be able to write code, but I can weld and haul and build things, hit me up when we need to start building some repeater towers or some shit for the ISP-free interwebz
I dare say it would make them check and double check before they busted down a house. Had a long discussion about this with a couple cop friends who had assumed that us EMS and Firefighters also had qualified immunity, which Mr and my EMS buddy quickly shot down lol
I hope whoever wrote this gets a call from their father about how disappointed he is in their shitty journalism and how he wasted his health for them to write this kind of bullshit.
I don’t blame him. You don’t generally have hundreds of distracted idiots on steep mountains nor deep seas, and if they are present they aren’t generally piloting 1 or 2 ton missiles.
I would have hit her. And probably the second woman that decided she had a right to put hands on me too. You don’t just go around putting your hands on people and then be shocked when you get put in your place.
If we talkin about his terrestrial/industry shit then yeah I ain’t digging it. The shit he did independent is way better. Especially the stuff he did with Struggle Jennings
Dr Seus reads a lot different at 30 than it did at 5. Anything you read will change with your life experiences and understandings. @Apatight you honestly seem to be projecting a little. You can no more state as fact that Christianity is not the truth than Jeff can (not that he really has) state as fact that Christianity is the only way. I got no dog in as I don’t buy fully into any religion, but lack of evidence for a thing is not immediately evidence that it doesn’t exist.
