Maybe clients can just implement a post type that paraes a link to some hosted url where the user can edit its content. Relays could sell the hosting space for the editable/deletable posts feature to be stored on the relay. Advantage is there’s no need to change the basics of nostr protocol, only clients need to agree on a new post type.
Another idea is to have relays that congregate around local communities, that is, they accept only posts from people that verify their location at least once.
Ephemeral location filtering seems like it matches only with dating apps usage…
It’s a dig on your “common sense” argument. The “common sense” is driven by mass media, and what is common today is absolutely bonkers for someone a few years ago. Common sense is not a measuring stick.
All big websites now are “application platforms” that spin up databases in the browser and run object code with justintime compiling. Hardly any “text and images” websites anymore.
You don’t need studies to just try it yourself. These articles are simply for project managers know if they have to enforce tools on their teams or not.
An idea would be to host am “offline” community relay, with connectivity to meshtastic devices in remote places, such that people can communicate with each other. Would work great in _emergency_ situations too.
