@c28ce4e6 Shortcuts is something I’ve tried only lightly but seems worth learning better. Good to know specific ways it helps workflows like this.
Aside: I just learned in Apple Notes on iPad, CMD-K doesn’t work to convert text into a URL link like it does on Mac, unless I’m overlooking something. If true, that’s a little bummer, but not a deal breaker. Yet it seems that, since v17 allows inter-note linking, and URLs can paste into Notes, then why not “Add Link?”
Can you grab HTML, convert to .txt, paste into WordPress Classic Editor, and publish new web pages - *all on an iPad using only default apps?* YES! Yes you can. 😃

I was very surprised to discover last night: my old spinning external HDD, using an adapter, works with my iPad Air 5! My tablet is a…computer! 🤓

As of today, I’m iPad-first again! Found a nice deal and grabbed the iPad Air 5th gen.
Getting reacquainted with iPadOS. First impressions: I forgot just how super nice and simple everything is…but also, there’s new-to-me stuff/very welcome refinements.
I wrote this post with my BT keyboard in Safari - Mastodon looks/works great here so far.

@c28ce4e6 Wow, thanks. That was fast.
Yeah, might be time to retire the "Air" moniker.
The edu one could be iPad SE (student edition, student education).
I'd still only do two Pro sizes: 11" and 14". And if you throw in the extra memory on the big one, just call it iPad Ultra or iPad Pro Max.
@c28ce4e6 I read it and replied.
Side note: curious question for you. If you had to simplify the iPad line up, how would you do it? Small/med/large? Other? Or would you make it more differentiated with more iPad models? Maybe one bigger than 12.9"? Thx.
