@c28ce4e6 I'm curious for your take on when Apple released the "compact" Safari tabs in the unified bar. My short take: on either iPad or Mac, it was aesthetically great but functionally not as great as the "normal" tabs. https://s3.eu-central-2.wasabisys.com/mastodonworld/media_attachments/files/111/031/857/861/244/945/original/20cf4a800d5698a0.png
@379d8cad Agreed. It looked great at the WWDC demo but in practice, yuck. I keep way too many tabs open. And it makes the url field more difficult to use too. That said, I've heard good things about the side tabs in the ARC browser. Years ago I enjoyed using OmniWeb in the early days of OS X as it had an interesting sidebar implementation of thumbnails. A sidebar tabs option for tabs seems more interesting!
