 @379d8cad I've found shortcuts really handy for blogging. Select text on a web page, tap the sharrow, select the shortcut which then creates a new markdown file with the formatted  markdown from the selected text including any links as well as a link to the original article. Or, it could just be copied to the clipboard for use on WordPress. Can even set it to open a new post on your WordPress site in Safari. Shortcuts is amazing.

 @c28ce4e6 Shortcuts is something I’ve tried only lightly but seems worth learning better. Good to know specific ways it helps workflows like this.

Aside: I just learned in Apple Notes on iPad, CMD-K doesn’t work to convert text into a URL link like it does on Mac, unless I’m overlooking something. If true, that’s a little bummer, but not a deal breaker. Yet it seems that, since v17 allows inter-note linking,  and URLs can paste into Notes, then why not “Add Link?”

 @c28ce4e6 @379d8cad I had a really hard time resisting the beta this year. So many good things I want. But I decided to wait. 

Was the beta pretty stable for you?

 @f2c10967 @379d8cad Yeah, there have been a few bugs but just the usual for a beta. The worst was early on a text entry bug that caused apps to crash fairly often. Been resolved for at least the last three betas. Pretty stable since then.
