@reltbracco just introduced me to @PigeonOutpost (name tag not showing up in Damus)
They might be the first nostrich i meet in person, not much info out there on raising them
My wife did some stuff like this, she worked in one of the fancier restaurants on Main Street.
All the chefs at these high end place know one another and they all know the affluent regulars. Those folk inevitably need a wedding chef or something eventually
That’s exactly how she got her first client
Get in with those folks somehow
It’s not something that has a precedent, I’ve never heard of anything like this
In addition, it’s even more unexpected they’d do it on such a mass scale
Oh man you had druids, pagans, wicker men, insane tribal conditions like huge dead zones around their settlements. They didn’t write much down before the Roman’s so I bet it would be interesting if we knew more.
They fought the Romans (a lot), the Huns, the Russians & napoleon
Things get a little docile when the Christian’s show up but we all know that didn’t last lolz
All I see on nostr are bitcoiners trying to build, no one is chilling here.
Her greatest concerns seem to be that the bad guys use it, which is literally a meme phrase (bitcoin is for enemies) so idk does she want censorship or communism?
I’m not sure how that would close down the on-ramps, but I’ll keep listening. I have faith bitcoiners can invent ways to get around such things anyways.
My understanding with the treasuries though is that they’re only holding short duration bonds, nothing long term. I think I heard guy swann breaking that down
