That kind of aggressive goal-setting should be rewarded whether he finishes or not. Maybe whatever % completion of the trilogy he gets through, give him that % of the original wager.
Definitely want to continue encouraging that delusional optimism!
Fair enough. I still think that not enough people today have a sense of "delusional optimism" and that it is a positive trait which should cherished and nurtured when we live in a society that loves to tell people to live in fear and scarcity.
Develop the discipline to do the hard things. Lift heavy weights not for anyone else, but for yourself. A disciplined body is the key to a disciplined mind.
Be delusionally optimistic... Go harder and bigger than you think you can handle and know that you'll figure it out.
Money isn't everything, but it is important. Save in sound money and keep a sound mind.
Civil war won't happen in this country and if it does, it will be very one-sided
Look at the sides...
Liberals: Scared of guns, soy boy vegans, triggered by "feelings" let alone physical confrontation, hobbies include being a keyboard jockey, video games, and avoiding the sun in coffee shops, self-proclaimed geniuses who know it all. outsources responsibility to the state
Conservatives: own multiple guns per person, meat eating chads, hobbies include combat sports, camping, and weapons training. 80 IQ army who sees personal responsibility as the means for a better life.
I look at who I was 5 years ago (before Bitcoin) and who I am today. I'm so far removed from that person even my parents have a hard time recognizing me as the son they knew.
I was already on a hero's journey, Bitcoin just gave me the faith to push harder and do more. It did destroy the old me.
This....
Talking to my dad about Bitcoin last night, got into how it's changed my life for the better, how it's given me a cushion that I've never had before and how I think he should stack more now while it's still cheap.
His response was "I hope it does what you say it does, you know your mom and I are going to need help in our old age."
*face palm*
People have been talking about licenses to have children for years. It was always laughed at. Today I see is careening towards A Brave New World mixed with 1984 panopticon. I wouldn't put it past them..
Maybe contentment and comfort have crept in for so long he is paralyzed to make a change. It's not bad enough for him to do anything about it, so he just goes with the status quo.
Not making excuses for him, just acknowledging that the fiat system is remarkably good at robbing people of their agency and convincing them that it's not their fault
I'm curious as to who this guys sources are...
I mean, the headline itself doesn't surprise me when Mr. Fink changed his tune and called it a flight to was it safety or quality?
Still exciting to see a Forbes headline like this
Merit to accountability. However telling others about your goals often gives a quick dopamine release that creates a false sense of accomplishment. I agree with @HODL do the work and say nothing, this will create true self esteem
To a degree yes.
When looking at this extremely accurate chart, the supply would be available units on the open market and quantity would be total quantity existing.
Great chart btw, Jeff
Holy moly, the landscape has changed since I was on NOSTR last. Higher quantity and quality of activity and the clients are much smoother too. This really is the future.
This framing is 100% on point. After hitting most of my super aggressive stacking goals, I have started to relax the reigns a bit and enjoy life more. I now have a cushion that I'm the future will be deemed as multi-generational wealth and that gives me a sense of confidence. I still live with a Bitcoin mentality, but realize that just holding forever and never utilizing that wealth is a fool's errand. Life is about the journey just as much as it's about taking care of the future version of yourself.
Experiences are fleeting, but they change you forever. Share experiences with others, invest in yourself and keep stacking.
This is the way.
Haven't been active on NOSTR for quite some time. I think it's about time I came back and gave it another shot.
I'm on an android, is Amethyst still the go to UI?
Calle, thank you so very much for doing the hard work in this area. I know you probably get some pushback from people, but know that you are performing work equivalent to a hero seeking and slaying a dragon.
