Not judging anyone who wants to circlejerk this perceived “victory” for a bit but we’re still far from the promised land folks.
Fuck being woke- but this reads like a blatant appeal to those who resent not having many good female friendships in high school. It was those pesky TEENAGE GIRLS all along! Boohoo. The origins of “wokeness” and how it became a problem are way more complex than this divisive diagnosis.
If they ever signal they are buying and printing, then Americans/ROW lose confidence in the dollar and front run them. Frankly, probably worse outcomes from the insanity that would cause overall. While it’s upsetting to see so plainly, I don’t see how else they’d achieve this. Did we really ever think the US Gov was going to lay down its biggest weapon because we backed a few politicians? Let’s be real.
The best thing Biden can do for his legacy, his party and unifying the country right now would be to pardon Trump. That would be the 3D chess move which would set the stage for an eventual Democrat renaissance.

It’s a prediction market. People “bet” on the outcome by buying what they think will happen, maybe selling when they think it’s priced too high, maybe buying more of it’s priced too low. The final result will be either $1.00 on Trump or $1.00 on Kamala. So right now the market thinks there’s a ~59% chance of Trump winning. It’s a useful indicator because a large volume of people are putting their money where their mouth is, but ultimately just one datapoint among many.
