Haha, no worries. It’s from back when Bill Clinton was being questioned about Monica Lewinsky. In any case, your question was “what is Free Will?”. It’s an “is” question. Definitional. Definitional questions are often the most savagely debated, but also often pointless in application. How does defining Free Will make a difference to you? In what way would your behavior change based on that definition? What do you hope to learn in exploring these questions?

Its fascinating and it challenges my own beliefs This whole thing started off as a way to see each other view without argueing but i found a great enjoyment in seeing the different viewpoints

seems ok, but "it's about" or "it's always about" are a tad sketchy and way overused. decent sentiment though. i'd say, rather "my actions are my only true belongings, I can not escape the consequences of my actions." (and those are not my own words but apt) and keep this in mind when you hear intellectualized speech that doesn't come from personal experience. if you haven't lived it, it's better to listen, not project ideas. 💘
I’m not sure I understand what you mean? I pretty much write from personal experience, not from what I’ve read. It’s helped me live a large life. Travelling extensively has allowed me to climbed lots of mountains - both physically and metaphorically. I’m interested in what your take is on my take. 😎

over the course of my life i have only listened with worry when someone has expressed to me that free will doesnt exist. it, & i know this is anecdotal, has exclusively been new age people (again, in my experience maybe i just have strange odds on this one.)
I think it depends on the context if we are talking the ability to make our own choices then yeah free will exists. If we are a product of our environment and nurture perhaps not really. Def a intresting topic to think on

I am saying we are all of our past and some of it can form how we make decisions or hinder us thus taking away free will. In my framework we are definitely alive i am not particularly strong on my view here

Free will is ability by stable person to do something good for any legit purpose without pressure or influence or interference from anyone else or their policy or society . which is rare n imaginary in present day. it is not to cofused with "anyone determination" or "dream".

somehow all of this here gave me an experience of opening up to being heard, as if before I believed I shouldn't. I think I still have a lot of layers to look at in this aspect, but something has beautifully opened.
