Interesting thought. 

I’ve noticed there are some words I just cannot remember in other languages despite repeated exposure and others that I’ll pick up after one go. My speculation is it’s how my brain is processing language through syntax and structure, some words just seem intuitive and others are “wtf is that?” 

 Are you familiar with bionic reading?  They do some interesting things with fonts and kerning that helps me
Read easier and it makes
Me wonder if it’s the shape of the letters that matter ergo the language? 

 Yeah I have and in English I do find that a lot faster to read but not in other languages. 

Doesn’t help at all with tonal languages for example. 

 Im sure a brain doctor has already answered my question some where but I’m publicly wondering.
