 I need cooking classes.

Like bad.
 Bad cooking classes🧐.
 Sure lol. Anything 😂
English cuisine is where it's at👌🏻.
If you want some bad cooking, absolutely 👀🤣😅
I want to learn how to cook potatoes, shrimp, beans, and rice 🤷‍♀️
25 minutes in an air frier on 160 Celsius. Break half way through to stir.
 For which?
i think this book is helpful! How to Cook Everything: The Basics: All You Need to Make Great Food--With 1,000 Photos: A Beginner Cookbook (How to Cook Everything Series, 2)https://a.co/d/19DwNC6
That’s exactly the kind of thing I need 🥰 ty
 😊❤️
Potatoes: do whatever however, then poke it with a fork.
Shrimp: go full fancy, get other people to serve it to you
Beans: who the hell eats that, you'll rip in a seam, ditch it
Rice: study astrology and cantonese for five years and then, MAYBE, you'll get a hang of this one. Or just use strainer, fuck rice.
A rice cooker or pressure cooker makes all the difference with rice.
Yea, rice cooker is the best.
Is a crockpot a pressure cooker?
No, they are kind of the opposite thing in many ways. An instant pot is a pressure cooker. They make things quickly while crock pots are not pressurized and cook slowly.
I’m not sure I have either, I have this air fryer thingie with a bunch of options, but I think I need like the most basic help possible like I need to hivetalk with @Sarah SoupBox [Zap.Cooking] and show her what I have and figure out what I need😂
 😂😂😂😂
 I love these directions 😂😂
You can use air fryer and foil to cook each one of those.
plain white rice is mostly the only food I am approved by my husband among my recipes haha.

 Have you tried cooking glasses?
 Not yet 😂
I can see you making a show called Cooking bad the nostr series 👀
Yeah because everything in the kitchen is a fire hazard 😂
🤣 it would just bring out the flavor

They have recipes for like complete meals. I need to learn how to make basic ingredients 😂
Like refine salt, mill wheat, that sort of thing?

They have shops for that 😂
I should give you hivetalk basic demos
I would be so psyched! I wanna learn something new each week, but idk if I have the right kitchen stuff. My oven is scary
 cook over fire 🔥

bellissima 🤌
Just light a fire on my counter and throw some food on top?
Gotta watch videos. Figure out what you want to eat, and look up the video. Easy peasy
I think I may need to get a crockpot 🤷‍♀️
Just start making stuff out of the joy of cooking… the older the book the better…
Use your stove, but yes. When it sucks don't do it like that again. That's it. You do not need social media for this
 Get an air fryer.
 Have one 🫂
 1. Make fire.
2. Put meat on fire.
3. Eat meat.
Check this out. They show you how to mash garlic and stuff for the recipes. The nostr:nprofile1qqst5x9k23f40nlcu5c6enlp6cy6g8hnqglm5pcak89ltfn5frqeq3spz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qg6waehxw309ac82unpwe5kgcfwdehhxarj9ekxzmny9uq3kamnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwdehhxarjwpkx2cnn9e3k7mf0tn02q0 and I have been using them for years.
 I'm a dumbass. Here: https://www.cooksmarts.com/
Perrrrrfect, I took a peek and they do simple stuff
Yes. Veggie options, also. It's really a damn decent little planning thing. Helps with prep for later in the week, grocery lists, etc.
Oh hell yeah. I need all the help. I am potentially the least skilled cook in the world
My favorite thing about it is that you pick what meals you want and it makes a grocery list that you can check off the things you have. Like such a small thing that makes a world of difference.
If you need to learn to cook message me anytime fren 🫂 puzzles will appreciate it 🤣
Thanks friend! I may need it. I get VERY confused in there and am lacking in some foundational skills
It’s NO stress. I love to cook. I am taking care of my in-laws with my wife atm, and their version of cooking before we moved in was the microwave and the microwave lol
Do one of the meal subscription services for a few months. They will teach you through exposure. After a few months you will have made a bunch of different meals and then you can cook them yourself.

Cooking is a bunch of skills: food prep, meal planning, and then the cooking itself.

The meal delivery service let's you focus on the cooking.
I really like this idea because it really is the WHOLE process thats finding: what to eat and what ingredients to buy too 😂
Yeah exactly. I learned I really don't like meal planning but very much enjoying cooking. So if someone gives a bunch of ingredients and a recipe, I go to town.
This is why we need home ec classes
 Amen to that!
depends what kind of food you want to make.

I can only cook Japanese
which always starts with making dashi (like a stock made from seaweed and/or dried mushroom or fish)
thats your base for practically everything else.
