I wouldn't count on it being like that forever. Popular apps will need to segregate content and keep nsfw content away by default. Properly labelling content as and when ways of doing so become common is a way to ensure you reach the audience you want without reaching those that will punish the apps you rely on. But that said, a nsfw focused app is probably a good idea. You don't need to change anything other than what client you recommend, but you publish the same way as before.

I know this may not help but they do have other Android Nostr clients. Plebstr is one. These all serve up Nostr for you and each has its own features. These could be alternatives for you. The network itself still has your notes. Any relay that you decide to use can host your notes and pass them through the network. Any relay that accepts your npub will accept your notes. Hopefully someone who sympathizes with your community will construct a client tailored for you one day wilth all the wishes you hope for. I would check out the Spring app for Android. It can serve up any online client on your phone in mobile view. It's pretty fucking cool.
Users can disable the reporting system at any time. Just hit the Security filters options in the menu and disable them. But the filter will always stay on by default. No one likes to see dick picks as soon as they log into a new app. Also, keep in mind that there are a lot of kids using Nostr already and adult content must be labeled as such so that clients can parse them out of a kid's feed.
Then give us the tools we need to exist on here. Give us unlocks for zaps only that are not 3red party. You love to police with censorship but we can police ourselves with the right tools.
I don't really know what you mean... I only code Amethyst. It's just 1 client out of 1000s different applications you can use. I am sure you will find what you want. If not, just assemble your team and build it.

I never said it isn't. Letting users choose to filter or not NSFW content is not Censorship. In the end, it's every user's choice.

That's probably true. There are a lot of things missing on Nostr. That's why Amethyst is still version 0.*. We don't have that many developers to create everything everybody wants in a few months. I don't know exactly what tools you want but if you name them we can put in our list. Or, you can do better, create a bounty for the exact tooling you want to see developed.
That's fair. I'd be willing to contribute to a bounty, someone more personally effected would have to come up with the bounty itself though, I wouldn't know the exact terms to set
That's one of the community's biggest problems. Too many general needs but very, VERY few specific ideas to be implemented. We will get better in time.
You put the means to censor us on the hands of others and remove our own ability to be good members of this community. Make a Unlock for Zaps feature and no one has to SEE a Dick Pic. After that, people who are adult entertainers can do more than one thing as a profession here and not be grouped as not being seen because we have too many warnings about content. I can show my tits AND also be an artist. If we get suppressed on feeds because OTHERS report us, it is censorship being decided by prudetards and you get to ignore that label when you are the one enabling it.
Sure, an unlock with a zap feature will come. We already do private feeds in an experimental setup I have. It's just not that simple to create a good one. It will take time to develop it. But we will get there.
