Something’s wrong with my Nostore browser plugin. I think it forgot my profile. Need to somehow uninstall/reinstall but not sure how.

No, I’m still on iOS 17

Probably? My apps are on manual update, but I usually do it when they become available.
I wonder if that’s the issue? Did your profile disappear in Nostore?
Yes! Profile gone, can’t create a new one. Was a real struggle to even get into the options, had to go through some ass-backwards way, like through Settings -> Safari Settings -> Extensions.
I should add that I can’t even uninstall nostore. There’s no “Delete app” option anywhere to be found. It’s quite disconcerting.
Well it is an app that you dl then use as an extension in safari I think if you don’t want to use it n e more you just turn it off & delete the app?
The app is undeletable. I can’t get iOS to give me a “Remove App” option. None of the menus allow it. Dug in like a tick.

Sir, I’m telling you, it’s un-deletable. I can remove it from the Home Screen. I can disable it in Safari. No, I have not. As I showed, the best I can do is remove the icon from the Home Screen. As far as I can tell, nostore is undeletable.

In the App Library, I can’t see the Nostore icon anywhere. I can search for it. If I search for it and hit Enter, it launches into the Nostore app, with instructions on how to use it. If I long-press the search result, it goes into Home Screen edit mode where I can drop the icon. In neither case does it offer me a context menu of any kind.
Damus specifically, swipe left in your mute list to delete the profile.
Ah I see. Didn’t even realize I had a mute list. I kept looking for a button in a context menu on the muted profile’s page.
Now you’ve got me looking through my mute list. It’s always been a one way function for me.
Yeah, this mute list approach doesn’t help me. I’m not finding the profile that I apparently muted. I’ve scanned the list twice. I need something where I can go from knowing the npub to unmuting that specific npub.
Then go to that npub and look at the "muted by" tab. If you don't see them there, adjust the relays.
Yeah maybe it’s not a mute issue anymore. Earlier, I got a notification in Damus. But when I went to the app I couldn’t find it at first. Eventually found it hidden under “note from a user you’ve muted” which sent me on this journey. But now, looking at that conversation in Damus, it’s no longer hidden. So I must have unmuted or something. 🤷♀️
Maybe digging it out lifted the mute.
Are you certain, that you muted them? They might just have an outdated mute list.
