To stay properly hydrated, an adult should aim to drink about 3.7 liters of water💧
Can anyone keep up with such a flow of water? 👀
 I’m a bit shy! I’m only logging ~100 ozs a day!
Not bad! I only can do that much of beer 😂
 You’ve got this 👊
I drink a lot of water so I don’t find that shocking
I never measure it but I’m pretty sure I drink that a day
It’s honestly not too hard when you break it down. That’s approximately 230ml an hour which is tiny, depending on the size of your mouth that’s one to two gulps an hour! Assuming you are up for 16hrs :)
Yeah, I do. I'm tired of peeing every 45 minutes 😭
 That’s make sense 😂
This is a myth. That amount was estimated by a single study many decades ago and even that number *included* water consumed by eating food. If you are thirsty, drink. Beyond that is extra.
Maybe. I googled that metric. So you can be right
I drink a couple of gallons a day.
Seems like you pee none stop 😂
I sweat all day so maybe I'll pee twice. Can't remember the last time I peed today. Been gardening and working on chicken coop.
That is a myth. It depends on the person and also depends of how well your cells absorb the water. You can drink 4 L and pee 3.5 and your cells will still be trusty.
 500ml enough
We all do when it's hot weathy, but we keep forgetting to hydrate when it's cold.

It's easy if you drink trough out the day in small units. I don't think many plebs do that but yes, it is possible.
Just for perspective, I hiked 32km today and drank almost 5 liters. Thats like 50 deciliters or 500 centiliters or 5000 milliliters.

Metric units are so amazing 🤠
 Boss 💪
That's excessive 😵‍💫 Also, ELEcTRoLyTes needed for absorbion 🧂🥒👍🏻
I don’t understand the hype around electrolytes. Does it helpful at all?
yes it helps you stablize your bloodsugar
and absorb the water intake better.

i started doing it and i felt an immediate change
Interesting. I might try. Which one you drink?
I just do water with salt. Works well
Cells need salts for water to penetrate. 🤷🏻
No need for store-bought, good seasalt etc. will do. I notice that it takes the thirst away better 😇
I read once that a large part of this water comes from the food we eat that contain water. So maybe we should drink 1.5-2L, does it make more sense?
 Make sense
Is this that one number from a very old study? If so, that is a number that represents *all liquid intake*, so juice from apples, moisture from vegetables, etc., everything.
It was never meant to represent only consumption of water as a drink.
I googled it. So have no idea. That’s why I asked
Well, however much value you put in this, let me point out a counter fact you should also be aware of: there is such a thing as water intoxication, where drinking too much water destroys a balance within your cells. It's actually dangerous.
So however much you want to "hydrate" your body, don't force it.
Literally, only way I can drink that much is beer
 🫡 same here
Water is for poor people…I drink milk! It’s isotonic too.
 🤔
