 Yeah glhf. I've always found it weird that people have this notion that nostr relays shouldn't decide who writes to it at all, as if they both co-own and manage the server and relay with the original relay operator. I saw a lot of npubs with this line of reasoning when @jack brought a bunch of new users late 22/start of 23 too. It probably takes some time for new users to figure out that compute isn't free and infinite. 

 Just explain to him who the relay belongs to

 I don’t think people understand nostr. #nostr is censorship resistant, but not censorship immune. You will be censored, muted or blocked if you fuck up. 

But hey, spammer can spin up their own relay and spam it however they like.

if you love your spam go run your own relay and welcome others  while you chill in the canned meat section of the supermarket. Otherwise, not your relay not your rules. Don't see the problem

 Spammers can run their own relays and their own clients and advocate for people to use them. Nothing's stopping them or this from happening.

 From what I remember the American constitution says you have the right to & can censor anyone if you want. It's your right as a private citizen.

Censorship becomes an issue when the government censors others or doesn't directly censorship someone but uses the private sector and forces a company to censor others. The government has no right to censor others. 

I don't associate with people I don't like. I will censor them if I have to. It's my right and i believe in those rights.
