7 steps to adopting a Proper Human Diet 1. stop all added sugar & most natural sugars 2. stop all grains & beans 3. stop all veg. seed oils 4. fill at least half of plate with meat, seafood, eggs 5. eat until full 6. stop snacking between meals 7. avoid buying food with more than 5 ingredients. If you have questions, I'll answer them in the comments.
Why would you say to stop eating grains? What do you mean? Are you speaking of Glyphosphate laden grains? Or anceint grains that have been consumed for eons?
I don't think humans have directly consumed large amounts of grains for eons. Where are you getting that from?
Sumer, Egypt, Babylon, Puma Punku, Ireland, to name a few.
Combining meat and fish while eating I’ve heard can cause some digestion issues ?
This is a myth
Sounds right to me. Why no grains and especially why no beans though?
What would your diet look like if you simply couldn't eat meat for some reason? Eggs and dairy are still options.
I assume you mean red meat? Then, fill up on poultry, fish and eggs
I mean any meat at all. I've never been able to stomach it (taste, smell, texture, it disgusts me and always has). The best I've come up with is eggs, cheese, whey isolate, butter, and several green vegetables I like. So a majority fat/protein approach. Admittedly, I feel better when I eat mostly this diet, even without meats. I mix in krill oil and a few other supplements as well (Magnesium, potassium, salt, and a range of B Vitamins) I'm basically just trying to make the best of my own shitty meatless situation and wondered how you'd approach it. Thanks!
He didn’t answer so id say dairy protein with egg blended in. Start with one raw egg. Make sure youre getting enough fat. -Use tallow or lard for your eggs in the am. 🧡👊🏻🍻🥩
My daughter is the same. We’re a carnivorous family but she will eat: -Whey protein. just avoid complex ingredients. Just buy it naked and flavor yourself. -Beef or chicken Bone broth. Its high in animal protein. Make mashed potatoes or rice with it instead of water. -Eggs! 🧡🍻👊🏻🥩
Is that including green beans?
Yes. You “can” eat them, but you don’t need much vegetation in your diet. You’ve been lied to since birth so Its okay to question things. When I first went keto 15years ago. The no legumes, fruit, etc really didn’t make sense to me. Keep them to a minimum and focus on your portions being meat. Fatty meat fills you up for long periods of time, and wont want to snack as much. 🧡👊🏻🍻🥩
No grains and beans? Eh?!?
All beans & grains are Starch (sugar) + phytochemicals
What about nightshade family?
Some people are sensitive and some are not; experiment
How much protein intake is adequate? I have not had luck maintaining the 1.x gram per lb of body weight
Eat fatty meat, fish & eggs until full and by definition you will get enough protein. Realize, no other mammal on earth counts macros and yet is very healthy
Why no veg ? In particular salad 🥗 I’m good with meat eggs fish and salad , sugar and processed can gfy, but salad ?? Noooooo explain pls
I didn't say no veg did I?
I went keto, felt amazing. Cholesterol went over 10. Doc said quit. I know there is more to the number than what my doc is going off. Is there harm in eating near keto and potential going in and out of ketosis? Ty
Not really, the lower carb you stay, the healthier you'll be
>most natural sugars Real raw honey is okay in small amounts? Or what options? What's your take on salt? I have Celtic and Real Redmon. Not sure if I should use salt at all, though. What about hydration? Water? Coconut water? What about fruit (berries)? How to cook meat? Should I eat it raw?
Hi Dr. Berry, what do you think about good quality olive oil on keto? Not for cooking but for topping. I’ve been cooking with butter or ghee.
Sprinkle of coconut oil baby...
