 I was just reading about sunflower lecithin. What I learned is that sunflower lecithin is better than soy lecithin and that sunflower lecithin is cold pressed which means it’s technically ok. 

I had read before that cold pressed seed oil is not bad per se because it’s not going through the industrial process that creates regular seed oils. 
 Adding to this, if soy lecithin is cold pressed then you might be ok 
 I don't buy the cold pressed argument. There are so many steps to seed oil production, most of them using harsh chemicals and temperatures. I highly doubt cold pressed seed oils never undergo a high temperature stage. The whole seed oil industry is based in deception, starting from what it's called (vegetable oil), so I'm not going to trust any of their marketing terms to whitewash it. 
 I share your distrust.

On my search for healthy protein powder I have found one that only has 2 ingredients: organic grass-fed whey protein and organic sunflower lecithin and was concerned about the second one. 

That's why your note caught my attention. 

I had read about the difference between cold-pressed seed oil (the old fashioned way) and the industrial seed oil on a book called "Deep Nutrition" by Catherine Shanahan and just found this other reference below. 

Based on these two references, I'm going to try this protein powder.
