Getting called by a bank who blocked a transaction of my money to Gemini, they were worried for me. Done the payment many times in the past. They are paying people to do this pointless work!!! They asked me if I’d taken any advice, I replied with, “I did my own research and then published it!!!!!”

Happily got my kid’s junior isa transferred from vanguard (they have some pretty good barriers in place), then had to complete a form so I could access US equities (because uk firms are a bit shit), then aped her into $mstr. During Thursday and Friday she got a better return than the prior 3 years in Vanguard.
Also, she already has her #bitcoin stack but using the system to help her accumulate “cash” for spending for when she’s 18 tax free, rather than generational wealth for her grandkids.

Great work @greencandleit and @Jeff Booth with a thought that just cuts through. Don’t measure in dollars….. so what does the gold/#bitcoin graph look like (yes, not perfect, but a start). The all time high is still around 35ounces/btc from (Oct 2021), march high was 32.5, and currently at 23.7 ounces/btc.
Price is all a matter of the measurement instrument you’re using.
Fun fact, to reach an all time high, as measured today’s gold price, bitcoin would need to be at $92736.70. Guess I’ll be waiting a bit longer for my all time high, Rye.

Finally ditched the bird app, massive part of my journey and after the “serious shitcoin” stage, started weeding them out, even got blocked by CSW (😎), over time got to get in contact with a few awesome people and even did a bit of writing for their work and for their publications.
This next part of the journey was where I stopped watching and taking but instead aim to contribute a bit back, which while making me realise how shit the fiat mine work was, also gave me a part of time in the fiat mine where I love what I’m doing, e.g. spending an afternoon writing an article for Bitcoin policy uk, just because the price of btc had gone up and I knew that achieving “fiat goals” was just feeding the beast. Just a little reminder to you all, 2 years ago, the UK’s infamous “mini budget” from the failed “Trussenomics” happened, the shit was put up pension funds and the GBP almost reached dollar parity (around $1.03), similar things happened in the US with SBV in 2023, and a 0.15 rate increase in Japan caused all sorts of excitement in 2024.
