My full quote to Politico regarding Satoshi and the HBO doc…
“For years, there's been endless speculation about the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, both in print and in media. Yet, until someone signs the private keys linked to Satoshi’s addresses, all of this remains mere conjecture.
Satoshi gave the world a profound gift in Bitcoin but deliberately chose to remain anonymous—a decision that must be respected. Efforts to unmask them are not just irresponsible but potentially dangerous.
Satoshi left the project early, and since then, countless others have contributed far more to Bitcoin’s evolution. Satoshi is no longer just one person; Satoshi is now everyone who works to restore a sound, incorruptible money standard for the world. We are all Satoshi.”
Except Craig 😂
Fu*k Craig !
Can I do that tomorrow, just on my way home right now!
Fucking Creg is a fucking liar
Also forger, don’t forget that!
Not even with Elons private parts would I attempt that nonsense. He did a decent job fucking himself IMNSHO.
Is the documentary mostly just speculating about who Satoshi is, or is it technical at all?
How's could it be anything other than speculation? Even if it's technical, it's still speculation. The only way to prove it is to sign with the Satoshi key, which won't happen.
We are all Satoshi... except Craig Wright.
I'm glad Satoshi stayed anonymous. Otherwise some country around the world would have put him in prison by now. Plus "we are all satoshi" sounds really cool 😎
The only person that knows the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto is John McAfee and he faked his death so we will never know.
I know a fairytale always makes better stories, but his name was Dave Kleiman.
That's just silly Wright fiction. Kleiman had nothing to do with Bitcoin.
You were not there on the BBS, you were not even testing his first releases.
Wright was just as conman like any other but was there too, Dave was the one doing all the heavy work. Sadly passed away with depression.
Again John McAfee is the only one that knows
Not really. Anyone chatting on the BBS those days around the crypto groups (in the sense of cryptography, cybersec) would be talking to Dave and others on the topic. There were a few other coins before and after that, nothing really too special to be quite frank.
It wasn’t Dave
It was
I guess you're just another one of those who get a kick out of pretending to be in possession of secret inside information. BBS in the late 2000s, lol ok sure buddy.
Dave Kleiman had nothing to do with Bitcoin.
It wasn't Dave.
I'm quite well known on the forensics area, which of course digests cutting edge cryptography. Had one of the longest running forum on the topic (~20 years), and tools that shaped that industry. Was doing open source even before it was called that way.
Not my fault that you spew arguments without knowing who you are talking to.
John McAfee didn't know shit.
Of course he did
He knew how to pump and dump shitcoins.
Apart from Craig, he's a cunt
Thank you for these words. 🧡
In October when they release the doc, I look forward to the scene in which they twist this into you claiming to be Satoshi
😂
So true. One need only look at Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, Ross Ulbricht and countless others for a preview of the fate that awaits Satoshi Nakamoto should he/she/they be unmasked.
Wouldn’t it be great if this ended with a plot twist?
„We found the true identity.
We are all Satoshi.
Except Craig Wright.“
jews cannot rest until they find the guy who dealt the biggest blow to their kike central banking scam
They are like psycho ex girls
It’s the CIA dude.
You know that.
Still here mate? thought you dipped 😂
No, you and I are not Satoshi Nakamoto
Whoever it is, the deep state surely found and killed them by now - they probably died around the same time they disappeared because there would be no reason for them to let the Bitcoin space get as retarded as it is now (instead of continuing to educate people), and the deep state would have no reason to let him continue educating people (instead of killing him to make the Bitcoin space as retarded as it is)
Make up more stuff please.
Satoru Iwata was Satoshi
I'm down with that
I don't actually have any idea since I'm not an insider with access to any secret knowledge, but I do notice these things:
* Satoru Iwata really liked the name Satoshi
* His work at Nintendo showed talent in the same programming languages used to create Bitcoin
* Nintendo oddly had some cypherpunk stuff going on under his time at the top - see the item codes in Animal Crossing for example
* His position and experience also suggest deep understanding of currency, system architectures, cybersecurity, network scaling, etc
* No more Satoshi after him - coincidence? I have no idea, it's just fun to speculate
I fully support this theory.
The original thing that made me think of him was I found out the Nintendo 64 can run Linux, which made me think maybe Nintendo was secretly doing a Japanese military project to convince the American military industrial complex to let them make powerful desktop computers without spyware by posing them as toys.
"Mom, can I make my special computer hardware a little more powerful?"
"What for?"
"For kids worldwide to play more advanced games"
*secretly uses it to make Japan's government more independent like a boss*
After thinking about that, I realized if anyone in the world could have made it as long as Satoshi did before the deep state found out & stopped him, maybe it would be Satoru Iwata.
Obviously finding out he really liked the name Satoshi also made me go "holy shit it might be this guy"
Well said... but you're still a statist. /s
How you gonna call somebody a statist without throwing ‘cuck’ on the end? I mean it just looks naked without it. Unfinished.
this makes sense to me. thank you for sharing.
They did not contribute, they hacked away removed things that they didn't understand, removed witness string signatures and now have a total of 4mb blocks.
You're using trusted third parties and side chains to process your txns, whilst actually not verifying the source (yes Merkley trees) but if you're no on chain your off it.
Which means, that Bitcoin has failed to achieve what was set out in the whitepaper.
Don't get angry at me, re read the white paper and look around you.

Are these contributions in the room with us now?
Except for me. I am NOT Satoshi.
People can say what they want to say at the end of the day. But if you remove the fluff, this being your attitude is why you had the most popular Bitcoin podcast at an important time I believe. People can pick away at the nits and dispute the small philosophical ideas or argue whether satoshi being known is dangerous or not etc. But the facts remain:
1. There is one way to prove the identity of the pseudonym Satoshi (cryptographically).
2 . Bitcoin is useful.
Personally I feel satoshis identity is moot at this point, which is why every value contributing member of the Bitcoin network could be considered “satoshi”. Because at the end of the day, it’s about carrying the torch. Insert quote about the power of an idea here. As far as I am concerned if the documentary doesn’t finish on a note like this (satoshis identity doesn’t actually matter, it never did). Then it’s probably not worth watching.
We are all 🌌.
