Also great for parts that are hard to find like little fasteners or custom cases for something. The more CAD experience you have, the more useful it will be.  

 OpenSCAD for making parts with parameters you can change later. FreeCAD and libreCAD are options.

 If you know the trust model of liquid, you know the chances of a liquid rug are near zero. But yes. This is why I advocate for layers of trust. Pocket change -> custodial lightning, a few million sats of liquidity -> liquid, cold storage -> on chain. This is the cheapest way to use Bitcoin in any way you need at any time you need it.

 Liquid isn't custodial. It self custody on a federated chain. That's way different.  

 Found this thread, not sure it's the best option. It's probably possible with some tinkering and it's really cheap for what it is. $53 shipped on the listing. But I don't think I want to tinker with it that much.

 If you don't want to keep a lot of sats on custodial lightning but you want cheap access to liquidity in a high fee environment, you use liquid.

 Bruh... Do you live in the world? People are so computer illiterate. Now you have to teach how to run software on an operating system they've never heard of. Open channels. Manage liquidity. New coiners whose stack is not even worth the fees at times to open channels. A self custody lightning node is a lot of work.  

 Plugging in a modem and running a lightning node are not equivalent.  

 For a lot of people... Maybe even most of you venture out of your bubble.  

 Liquid is great for stacks sized .5-5million sats or so.

 They have good aesthetic design with no functional design. Thermaltake and Corsair both have great functional design. NZXT has great aesthetics also but terrible functionality imo.
