@MisterLister@poa.s That's revenue. They were (claimed by those involved) paying 10-20k in server costs per day if I recall correctly. Overall it may have been a relatively modest profit but showed potential for future bucks.
@🥞 Pancake Man 🥞 💉 If the people at the top all dropped dead tomorrow it would take generations to reverse those induced opinions, the thinking of the masses is also a problem. Even with total media control it would be decades.
Library of Heaven's Path is very dumb and repetitive, but I like it. The world building is good with interlocking societal niches but then the protagonist comes in and masters a specialized skill in a moment to make the villains cry and all the world building useless because we're immediately onto making fools out of another group of people.

@BunnygirlAbductor The problem is that the guild systems still exist but they are gigantic and controlled by people you hate. Lawyers, bankers, stockbrokers, and accountants are all under a guild system (by function and structure, not necessarily name) in the US.
@Electric Pants :prince_dance: Sezzle makes money primarily by charging the merchant 2-3x what a credit card fee would in processing fees (6%). A little bit more if you don't pay on time because it becomes a high interest loan.
For a high margin business like pizza it's more profitable to make several percent less on a sale than to not make the sale at all. Businesses don't set up their own microloans because it's actually a lot of work at small scale and it's better for PR not to have some someone's grandma crying on TV because the Domino's delivery guy is repoing her house.
One of my bathroom vents is letting dirt in on windy days. I don't want to rip open my ceiling over an annoyance but just blocking it off feels stupid.
@svantovit A lot of those services don't report at all unless you miss payments, so they can only harm you and cost you money instead of establishing credit. It's entirely up to the lender whether to do it and it's a cost to them (dispute handling, tech, etc) that really doesn't make sense when someone finances a pizza.
@svantovit@Tactical Make it one card with no annual fee and don't ever spend more than you are going to pay off before interest starts accruing (spending more does not increase your score despite popular belief). Don't bother with secured cards, someone will approve you for a regular one that won't tie up your funds.
@gozfarb I like the artist's work overall, but it's at its best when everyone is being shy and this series just throws that out entirely as his recurring theme.
